Chapter 35 - Chapter 35: The Giant

At 8 p.m., the group had set up camp on one of the hills for the night. Everyone was celebrating the defeat of the basilisk. The dwarves had made sure to light the camp with long torches resembling a lamppost in the capital.

Next to the campfire where everyone was gathered, Klamli and Gellen were working on a small forge Klamli had brought. Finn, seeing Klamli take the forge out of the small leather bag, wondered how much space those bags held.

"Move that arm more! Are you trying to ruin your own arm?" Klamli exclaimed, carefully placing the scales in a mold.

Gellen hammered harder on the iron in front of her, sweat dripping down her forehead, and her hand was already sore from hammering.

"Tch, I'm doing it as fast as I can!" Gellen replied.

Rodrick nodded in approval at Gellen's efforts before turning to look at the other adventurers gathered around the campfire.

"You're very happy for having barely completed the quest" Rodrick said, sitting next to Lornar. "You had a tough fight today and many mistakes. Tell me what you learned?" he asked.

The adventurers looked at each other. From their perspective, they hadn't made any mistakes; it was just that the basilisk was too strong for them.

"Oh, so none, huh?" Rodrick asked, taking a sip of his beer. "Well, let's get started with your plan..." Rodrick said.

The Adventurers quickly looked ashamed, as they recognized that they had pushed aside both the dwarves and the explorers, believing that they were enough.

"Not only you excluded other members of the group, but you also never stopped to think or ask about the basilisk's qualities. The result? You all evidently failed. The basilisk sensed your magic and intentions, undoing the plan in just a second. You are supposed to be C-class adventurers, how can you all attack an enemy without even judging or evaluating them first?" Rodrick said disappointedly. "Then there are the attacks. Moments before, You all were warned about the basilisk's resistance to fire, and days before, all of you heard that the basilisk had enormous strength and great speed, but you still didn't take those details into account."

At that moment, everyone remembered how the dwarves had described the basilisk when they met them, and how it dragged them through various parts of the forest.

"But Sir Rodrick, in the end we followed orders and managed to weaken and kill the basilisk!" Lucy exclaimed, causing Reynolds and Ava to nod.

"That's right, sir. At the end we managed to work properly!" Ana said.

"Really, you did it? Are you very sure of that?" Rodrick asked, confusing the adventurers. "The hunters ignored the dwarves' warning and continued firing fire arrows. They only wasted resources, magic, and energy. Not only that, but when they saw that their arrows and attacks weren't working, they not only didn't retreat but instead stood in the way of the others and even put themselves in unnecessary danger, as happened with Gellen. The warriors ignored the fact that the basilisk's skin and scales were very durable, resulting in their weapons breaking. Reynolds even lost his breastplate and ended up unconscious for a few moments, becoming a burden. Of his three groups, the only ones who did halfway well were the mages, who understood that fire magic wouldn't harm him and opted to immobilize him with their earth magic."

"Oh, and what about the explorers? All they did was save Gellen!" Reynolds complained.

"The explorers followed orders and adapted quickly, fulfilling their role far better than anyone else. The dwarves warned them about the basilisk's petrifying sight, and the two of them took it upon themselves to blind it however they could. When the basilisk was about to unleash its venom, Finn took it upon himself to block the venom's only exit, ensuring everyone's protection. When Gellen was in danger, they made sure to exploit the basilisk's weaknesses to force it back, something you all never thought of doing. They were even the ones who made sure to finish the basilisk off once and for all by blowing it to bits" Rodrick assured, leaving the adventurers speechless. "If this were a collaborative mission with another kingdom, you, as C-class adventurers from different guilds, would have left a very bad impression of your guilds, as you were more useless than mere D-class adventurers."

"Was that last part flattering or insulting?" Darwin asked Finn.

"Just a comment, that's all" Finn replied.

"You've become so caught up in their own occupations and roles that you don't stop to think about the best course of action. If you continue with that thinking, then you won't survive the dungeon in Everland" Rodrick said before taking a last sip of his beer and throwing the rest into the campfire, extinguishing it and calling it a day.

Two days had passed again and they were getting closer and closer to Everland City. Currently, everything had returned to normal. Gellen now had a new arm that not only helped her use her bow, but also helped her fight in close combat because it had magical properties from the basilisk itself. With her new arm, she could now deflect or undo several fire spells without any damage. She could also withstand heavy attacks like those of a C- or even B-class adventurer, and could use more than 20 times her normal strength.

"This thing is incredible!" Gellen said, looking at her scaly arm, which seemed to be a dragon's arm due to the appearance of the scales.

"Yeah… Although not as incredible as this!" Klamli exclaimed, looking at Finn's bracer. "What did you say was the name of the guy who made this?"

"He's Roger, an alchemist and developer from the capital" Finn replied, looking at the floating screen.

Currently, all the adventurers, including the dwarves, were checking out the new bracer features. The "My Tale" page had become a sensation these past two days.

"We have to sign the inter-kingdom treaty immediately!" Halordim exclaimed, fascinated by the My Tale page.

The dwarves watched in amazement as the adventurers posted their adventures and quests on the page, receiving all kinds of comments. Gellen had even posted her new arm, receiving many comments asking who made it. Klamli continued scrolling until he came across a somewhat peculiar post.

Looking for girl swap (looking for non-humans only). I currently have 6 human girls in my group, 5 young girls, and 1 MILF (one of the 5 young girls is handicapped, but she does her job). We're heading to Everland. Anyone interested, please send a message.

Serious people only, please.

The post had already received around 100 comments with various offers from adventurers and merchants. Finn turned to look at his group before seeing Darwin, who had been quickly reading several comments for a few minutes.

"Hey, who's Non-human lover?!" Annie asked, looking around.

"Darwin, stop swapping your teammates" Rodrick said without even looking back.

"But Mr. Rodrick, they're offering me three lion-mytt girls and one horse-mytt!" Darwin replied as if it were the deal of the century. "Besides, it's not far, just a few hours from here!"

"That... that's a very good deal…" Charles admitted before being hit by Salma with her cane.

"Seriously, you can trade things around here?!" Ava asked, starting to read the post more carefully.

"Hahaha, this guy is hilarious!" Duraz exclaimed, seeing the bracelet next to Klamli.

The Queen is an idiot and doesn't know how to suck tits. The princess moans like a pig and her mouth stinks like a dead dog.

P.S., the queen has a loose vagina.

'Too much freedom of expression...' Finn thought, seeing the post with over 1,000 comments all seeming to agree.

Finn watched as Klamli "liked" the comment using his account, but didn't say anything to remove it, knowing full well that the queen and princess were the worst.

Lornar took Finn's bracer from Klamli's hands and began typing quickly on it.

Toughest Knight in Firorn knows a lot. Does he/she maintain intimacy with them???

That would explain a lot.

"What do you idiots think you're doing?!" Finn shouted, removing the bracer and wanting to delete the post just to see how he received a comment.

"HAHAHA, this guy is hilarious!" Lornar laughed, seeing the messages and comments Toughest Knight was receiving "It was a good idea that you chose that strange name!"

"Sigh… Okay, too much social media for you guys today" Finn said, sighing and putting on his bracer.

"What? Don't do this to us, Finn. We want to keep seeing the adventurers' posts!" Lornar exclaimed.

"No, you already got me in trouble…" Finn said firmly.

"Please, Finn. I might die of sadness if I don't look at the posts!" Halordim exclaimed.

"That seems more like an addiction than a need!" Finn said, refusing again. "Ask Mr. Rodrick if you want to continue viewing and posting things."

The dwarves quickly turned to Rodrick, who was holding the reins, and he simply replied, "No."

The journey continued, and as the hours passed, the dwarves once again convinced Finn to lend them his armband with the promise that they wouldn't publish anything again. At 5 p.m., the group stopped in a small town, which was where they were originally supposed to meet the dwarves, according to Rodrick's plans.

"Well, this is Arco Village. We'll rest here for the day and then continue our journey. We're only four days away from Everland now. Make sure you buy equipment and supplies if you need them" Rodrick said, causing everyone to nod.

Finn and Darwin separated from the group, going to buy only healing and sleep potions for Darwin. Finn had left his bracer with the dwarves, as they wanted to see more of the posts. The two walked through the village until they reached a small bench where they began to arrange their things in their leather bags.

"Did you leave your bracer with Lornar and his group?" Darwin asked, carefully arranging the potions.

"Yes, they'll only be with us for a while, and once we separate, they won't be able to see the page, so I decided to leave it with them for the rest of the trip. I can see it later" Finn said, causing Darwin to nod in understanding.

"You know, I was hoping to run into a giant. The footprints we saw indicated it was coming this way, but unfortunately, we didn't" Darwin admitted, disappointed.

"Maybe it just passed by and we'd run into it along the way" Finn guessed. He was also curious about what a giant would look like.

Unbeknownst to the two, some children peeked out from some bushes, listening to Finn and Darwin's conversation.

"I hope the trip isn't even harder these next four days" Darwin said, sitting down on the bench.

"Sigh, I hope I get out of the mission alive" Finn said, also sitting down. "We should look for an inn. Everyone's already settled in."

"Yeah, I think I saw one a few blocks away..." Darwin pointed toward one of the main streets, but at that moment, a group of five children stood in front of them.

"Excuse me... are you adventurers?" a girl asked, looking at Finn and Darwin.

"That's right, kiddo. Is something wrong?" Finn asked, knowing that Darwin wouldn't answer because she was human.

"You said you saw the footprints of a giant coming this way, right?" the girl asked, and Finn nodded.

"See? I told you. I saw a giant woman!" said an excited boy.

"Did you see a giant woman?" asked Finn curiously.

"YES!" exclaimed the boy, pointing toward a forest south of town. "She arrived in town in the morning and then went into that forest!"

"Are you going to see her?" asked another boy, causing Finn and Darwin to look at each other before nodding.

"Sure, why not" replied Finn, making the children even happier.

"You know, I've noticed that Firorn is full of forests…" said Finn, walking towards the forest.

"Well, that's because there's a huge forest that divides Firorn into four parts, which is how the dukes divided their lands" said Darwin, walking beside Finn. "Each duke has a different type of land. The east is full of green fields and mountains. The south is full of mountains and sand. The west has some pretty dry land, but I've heard they're slowly reforesting it. While the north is full of green fields and lakes, the duke's city is actually on a large lake."

"Maybe someday we'll visit it…" said Finn, curious.

Upon reaching the forest, the two of them went deeper into it, quickly finding a trail of fallen trees and footprints leading deeper into the forest. By 6:30 p.m., as the sun began to set, the two continued walking until they reached a large, open area with no trees around, only a huge backpack with a gigantic hammer. Finn estimated the hammer was at least four meters tall, and a huge campfire.

"Well, I think we found its camp" Finn said, looking around.

"Let's look around here, it shouldn't be too far" Darwin said.

Splash!

The sound of water caught Finn and Darwin's attention, followed by laughter. The two went to investigate where the sounds were coming from, coming across a large lake with a huge woman's head sticking out of it.

"Oh, looks like I have guests" the woman said before leaving the lake.

The woman stood up, emerging from the lake and standing just a few meters from Finn and Darwin. The woman was enormous, bigger than the basilisk, so Finn and Darwin estimated her to be about 6 meters tall, with blond hair and green eyes.

'She's... she's enormous!' thought Darwin.

'She's... she's naked... of course' thought Finn, seeing the naked giant. 'Hmph, I thought she'd have more... rough features' he thought, seeing the giant's very feminine and delicate face.

"What's wrong, little ones? Are you lost?" asked the giant, bending down to get a closer look.

"I got lost, but in the charm of your gaze, beautiful giant!" exclaimed Darwin, approaching the giant.

"Oh, how handsome! Tell me your names?" asked the giant.

"I'm Darwin, and this is my friend Finn. We both come from the capital of Firorn" Darwin answered quickly.

"A pleasure to meet you, Darwin and Finn, from the capital of Firorn. I'm Noona, from the Far Southern Kingdoms" Noona said, stroking Darwin's hair with her fingers.

"What blessing brought you to these lands, great noona?" Darwin asked.

"Hohoho, how daring you are, Darwin. I came to these lands looking for a new home" Noona revealed, surprising Finn and Darwin.

"Come live with me!" Darwin exclaimed quickly. "I'll support you."

"Did something happen to your old home?" Finn asked.

"Sigh, I'm afraid so. Many monsters have appeared recently, and the Southern Kingdoms are no longer a suitable place for a single descendant of a giant like me to live" Noona said.

"Those damn monsters! I'll finish them off for you!" Darwin said quickly.

'He's very intense' Finn thought.

"You're brave, Darwin. But I still wouldn't return to those lands. I've fallen in love with these green and prosperous lands" Noona said.

"Then stay as long as you want!" Darwin replied quickly.

"Oh my… you really are affectionate, aren't you?" Noona asked.

'No, he's definitely not. This is the first time I've seen him like this' Finn thought. "I heard about a huge plague of monsters and magical beasts throughout the southern kingdoms a while ago. Are you talking about the same thing?" Finn asked.

"I imagine so. I've only heard of a large number of monsters throughout the southern kingdoms" Noona stated, sitting cross-legged. "The situation is very bad in the south. They're even thinking of asking for help from the other neighboring kingdoms. You know, there are even rumors of sightings of Void creatures."

"Void creatures? Aren't they supposed to be chained to the Void lands since they attacked the elves years ago?" Darwin asked.

"Supposedly, but don't believe everything they say. Many swear they've seen Quetzalcoatl too, but as you know, that guy has been dead for thousands of years" Noona said.

Finn nodded, keeping the information to himself, believing it would be useful to his Master or even Rodrick later.

"So, guys, what brings you to these lands from a place as far away as the capital?" Noona asked.

"We're here to clear a dungeon in Everland" Darwin replied without hesitation.

"Clear a dungeon? Are you adventurers?" Noona asked curiously.

"We are. We belong to the Freewalker guild" Finn said this time.

"Freewalker? I remember that name. An adventurer came to our tribe claiming to be from that guild and asking the leader a few questions" Noona said, recognizing the name. "So, you're clearing the entire dungeon? I've heard it hasn't been cleared for several decades."

"That's right, we'll clean it up without any problem!" Darwin stated confidently.

"Oh, but how brave! Tell me what you're doing here in the forest then?" Noona asked again. "You're not coming to hunt me, are you? I don't want to have to face you guys. I really like you."

"Of course not! We came here because some kids claimed to have seen a giant entering this forest, and we wanted to meet her and see her with our own eyes… see you, beautiful giant" Darwin stated quickly.

"Oh, so what do you think of me? Are you disappointed? I'm only one-eighth giant after all" Noona asked with a slight smile.

"Of course not! You're everything I imagined and more!" Darwin exclaimed, making Noona laugh.

"What a daring adventurer! Are you trying to woo me, Darwin?" Noona asked, and Darwin nodded without hesitation.

"Absolutely!" Darwin said.

'He's shameless' Finn thought, covering his face.

"Oh, and aren't you afraid that I'm a little... too big for you?" Noona asked, amused.

"Of course not. My desires and arousal are even greater, that won't stop me!" Darwin assured.

"You're definitely quite a character, Darwin." Noona said, caressing Darwin's face with her fingers.

'I've already got her in the bag' Darwin thought with a sly smile. "For you, I'll be anything you want, you beautiful giant!"

"Oh, don't go on, Darwin. No one has ever courted me with such ferocity. If you keep going, I might make you spend the night with me, and that would be more meat than you can chew." Noona said, lying down in front of Darwin, resting her head in her hands while wiggling her feet.

"For you, I'd choke if I had to!" Darwin said, approaching Noona.

"If you're so confident and aren't afraid of handling all this, then I'm more than willing to give you my first time" Noona said, beginning to stroke Darwin more seductively.

'Incredible, he did it… It's like Shrek's Donkey and the Dragon' Finn thought, surprised.

"Of course I'm not afraid, my dear beautiful giant… just give me a second" Darwin said before pulling Finn aside.

The two walked until they were a little far away from Noona, but making sure not to leave her line of sight.

"Are you really going to do it? Isn't that too much meat for you?" Finn asked curiously. "I mean, look at that ass. It must be big even among her kind. It's like the Amelia of the giants…"

The two turned to see Noona, who was swaying her hips while lying down.

"Gulp… Lend me the slime" Darwin said confidently. "Tonight I'm going from being Darwin the weed gatherer to Darwin the giant fucker!"

"What? Oh no, you're not going to get my slime dirty!" Finn said, refusing.

"Please, Finn, help a brother in need. I promise I'll clean it up and make it up to you!" Darwin begged, his eyes watering. "Don't make me look bad in front of her!"

"Since when we're brothers?!" Finn ask

"Since we met, now please help me!" darwin said

Finn bit his lip wondering what to do, only to see noona swaying her huge butt from side to side and sigh in agreement.

"Sigh, but you clean it well, you hear?" Finn said, taking out the slime and secretly giving it to Darwin with a handshake.

"I swear!" Darwin replied. 'It was worth it to improve my telekinesis skills. Thank you, Amelia, thank you, Finn' Darwin thought, wanting to cry with happiness.

"Okay, I'll say goodbye here. Remember we leave at 7 in the morning" Finn reminded him, then released his grip and headed off toward the village.

Darwin stood there watching Finn walk away as a hero before turning to look at Noona, who was still waiting for him with a big, mischievous smile.

"So, are you ready, beautiful? I'm going to make sure you have the best night ever!" Darwin said, turning to Noona.

"More than ready, little man" Noona assured him.
