The brutal experiment island of the hidden mist village
During the reign of the third Mizukage, when the hidden mist village teamed up with the hidden cloud and the Hidden stone village to destroy the land of whirlpools, the hidden Mist village had sent 20,000 Shinobi to the land of Whirlpool. It was the second largest number after the hidden stone village which had sent 25,000 shinobi. Compared to these two villages the hidden cloud village had only sent 5000 shinobi.
But despite the number advantage to kill around a thousand people which included a small amount of shinobi and a lot of civilians, the three villages had lost ninety nine percent of their combined forces. And the Hidden mist was the one who suffered the most. Out of 50000 shinobi, only 500 returned to their villages with their life intact. Among those 500 shinobi, 400 belonged to the hidden stone and 90 shinobi belonged to the hidden cloud. In the entire operation the hidden mist turned out to be a clown who only had 10 shinobi left.
During the time of the third Mizukage, when the hidden mist was going through the blood mist era, the remaining 10 Elite Jounin had already decided to flee the village and became rogue shinobi instead of returning to the hidden mist.
Even though they had successfully captured a young seal master of the Uzumaki clan, compared to their loss of 19990 shinobi, just a single Uzumaki was a laughable exchange.
But before they flee and become rogue shinobi, the ten of them decide to take proper rest and recover from their injuries in a remote Island where no one would find them. So on their way back to the hidden mist, they found an uninhabited island to recover. But soon they realized how unique the animals of the islands were. Almost all of the animals on the island were big. A lot of them even possessed intelligence to various degrees. Those 10 shinobi quickly realized that if they played their cards right they just might be able to survive. They had an Uzumaki which could create summoning blood contract seals for the summoning animals. And those large beasts, if trained well, could become extraordinary summoning creatures of the hidden mist village.
After capturing a massive horned rabbit the ten of them dumped their captured Uzumaki on the hostile Island to survive on her own and set sail towards the hidden Mist hoping that they would be pardoned for their failure.
Unfortunately for them their assumption was not completely right.
Apart from the weakest of them, all the rest of them were executed upon returning to the village.
The last one was captured and was used to trace back the mysterious Island before being executed as well. The Mizukage saw a rare potential in the Island as he used a little bit of funds and a squad of elite jounins to take control over the island and continue the plan of those 10 shinobi.
Even though the hidden mist has not gotten any significant result from the summoning Island since the last 10 years, the Mizukage continued to spend money on the secret Island believing that when the result will appear it will make the hidden mist a lot stronger than before. He even funded to create a research facility in the island to capture and research on the different types of beasts.

Honoka Uzumaki snapped open her eyes when she sensed a ridiculously large Chakra signature coming towards the island from the sky, through her mind's eyes of kagura. She was really very shocked. After all, it was the first time she was sensing such a large Chakra signature. For a moment she thought that a Jinjuriki was approaching the island. But then she shook her head. As a trained member of the Uzumaki clan, she knew that all of the Jinjurikis had suppressed the tailed beast Chakra. So she should not be able to sense them. On top of that the Chakra signature that was coming was at least 20 times larger than the clan head when he was alive. And that was not all. The Chakra was warm and welcoming on the surface. But in reality it was like staring into an abyss. It was not Sinister like those bastards from the hidden mist, it was more life, a deep abyss that will devour anything and everything.
For a moment, Honoka thought about alerting the mist shinobi before crushing that thought in her head.
In the last 10 years she has lost the meaning of her life. She was fully expecting to live her entire life in captivity. And it was not better than death itself.
At this point in her life she didn't care if she died. So she didn't bother to alert the hidden mist shinobi.
"*Boom*" A small earthquake shook the island, as the flying shinobi landed on it.
"What was that !" The shinobi who was guarding the door of her room immediately asked out loud after feeling the small earthquake and hearing the loud noise outside.
Honoka became sure that whoever it was, the person was very strong and confident. Otherwise who would declare their presence just like that ?
She stopped drawing stabilizing seals and made the hand sign to see what was going on outside the mountain with the mind's eyes of kagura.
The technique was more convenient than Byakugan. If not for the concentration needed to activate the technique then, Hyuga wouldn't be proudly declaring their Byakugan as all seeing eyes. The concentration needed to activate and continue using the mind's eyes of kagura was the main reason why it was not combat effective.
Honoka closed her eyes as everything going on around her became very clear. The silhouettes didn't have colour but the outline of their shapes and their every movement became crystal clear.
The newcomer who shook the island seems to be a woman with some killer curves and massive assets. But that was not the most terrifying part. The next second she somehow controlled The fall of another small human being without even using Chakra. For a moment Honoka thought that the small child might be the reason for the arrival of the unknown kunoichi. But her confusion was cleared when she saw the figure creating 101 similar tangible figures around her, with a single hand seal. But that was not all. She had equally distributed her Chakra among her clone and had still thrice as more Chakra than the scary Mizukage. One of her figures grabbed the boy and left the island while the rest of them scattered around. Soon one of those figures spotted three mist shinobi going on their way to check the earlier commotion.
But what happened next, shook Honoka to her core. She somehow controlled one of the shinobi to kill himself using his own kunai knife. While the rest of the two were still confused about what had just happened she shot something from her palm that hit the second mist shinobi. The man met his gruesome end in a moment when his skin and flesh rotted away leaving only a grotesque mass of melted flesh and bones at the spot. Just imagining it made Honoka snap her eyes open and vomit nearby.
Whatever happened to the man was too brutal for her taste. At that moment she started to feel fear about the entire situation. But deciding to see it to the end, Honoka steeled herself before reactivating her mind's eyes of kagura.
By that time the woman was doing something to the unconscious last shinobi. But before Honoka could understand, the woman's clone was done with whatever she was doing and swiftly killed the last man with just a twist of her hand before cancelling herself.
At that moment, her original body, which had not made any move yet, looked straight in her direction and started walking towards the mountain.
For a moment even without any physical damage, Honoka felt so frightened that her breath escaped her long and then she forgot to breathe. Fortunately she managed to calm herself down quickly. She still couldn't feel any killing intent from the woman. But the way she straight up murdered those shinobi, she was not sure if she would leave her alone if she was found. She didn't fear death. Pain up to a certain level was also manageable. What she feared was other types of things that could make her life a living hell. Well it was already a living hell but she was afraid that it might get worse. Especially when she didn't know exactly what the motive of the woman was. With her level of strength escaping alive was not an option. Her only option was to negotiate. But unfortunately she has nothing valuable that she could negotiate with. But she didn't lose her hope and desperately tried to think about a solution while keeping an eye on the movement of the woman.
