Robert left after speaking to Riven. Riven swallowed hard, gathering himself. After all, he was a teen.
'Wait, Liana is only a year older than me, meaning she is going to be fifteen, what fifteen year old noble knows how to cook?
I guess she isn't all arrogance and smugness.' He thought before pushing the door and walking in. His footsteps sounded inside the kitchen and immediately pulled her attention.
She turned, wanting to see who walked in. Her eyes met with his for a brief moment before she looked away.
"You came." She said.
"Why wouldn't I? There's food, and you offered it to me, for sure I'll come." Riven said. He took a seat near the island table at the center of the kitchen.
"Hey, Liana." He called out.
She was busy laying out the plate when he called, she stopped and looked at him, "What's it?" She asked.
