The bell rang and all the students left for their next class. I bid my goodbyes to Silvera and Teresia before parting ways.
"Alright, smartass. Goodluck in your next class." Silvera said.
"I'm glad I'm no longer called cocky. Goodluck to your classes as well." I said, and I looked at Teresia as well. She just nodded and left.
My next class was Combat Class, taught by Professor Alex.
I was expecting the classroom to be similar to Professor Lightning, except with gym equipment and wooden weapons for practice. However, it was different. We didn't have a class. Instead, we were somewhere in the forest where there was a high concentration of energy around the area.
The only problem was that it was hot. Too many insects. Lastly...
"Do you even shower?" One of the students asked.
"I do! It's just hot." They argued back.
'It's hot so what did they expect?'
"Enough chitchatting, you twinks." A low voice said. Each step he made, the ground trembled. "Welcome to my domain. I won't say an introduction since you all know me, so we'll begin with the warmup."
"Warm up?" The students asked in confusion. Then, he prepared himself to lunge towards us.
'Don't tell me this guy...'
"Five minutes. Try to survive for five minutes." He smirked and lunged himself towards us. Those who weren't ready quickly was dropped to the ground, while those who knew what was coming dodged the muscle head.
The students scrambled around, but that was a mistake. Thanks to the space around us, Professor Alex used the space to get near us, unleashing a barrage of martial arts that no one could block besides myself.
"Oh? If it isn't the prodigy." He smirked. "Let's see if you are truly strong, shall we?"
He unleashed powerful attacks, to which I replied by parrying them while keeping my Body Enhancement active. But despite the Body Enhancement active, I could still feel the powerful blows from his attacks, making my arms tremble.
I saw a slight opening and went for the kill. Alas, that was just a feint. An uppercut kissed my sorry chin, making me stumble to my back. I was able to recover, but the professor was already on the move.
'Damn it! I've been fighting Fiends for too long, that I forgot this guy has a brain!'
I used Force Hands to slow down his movements. The moment he slowed down, I moved out of the way.
"Good use of Force Hands. You are smart, but too slow!" Before I could even face him, he kicked my butt, making me stumble headfirst to the ground. "Five minutes is up." He said and he helped me stand up. "You are strong, but you still have lots to learn."
"Thank you for the warmup, professor." I just said.
