Chapter 90 - Ch. 090 - Basic Rune Class [5]

Professor Windmeg then talked about how we can build a Guardian-Type Rune Tree with the use of its simple version. I know you are all wondering, what's the difference between Guardian-type and the original Rune Tree?

Think of it like this: a delivery driver has to stop by its warehouse to get the supplies they need in order to drop them. Once the driver obtains the packages, they will stop by each address to drop off their packages, which in turn, those who ordered will give them tips to bring back with them to the warehouse. This logic applies to Rune Tree. Our core is the first destination. The Force units will stop by our core to receive the power they need. Then, they will stop by each Runes, dropping off that power they received. Once the Runes received their delivery, in exchange to those units, they will give them a buff or power up for them to deliver back to the core.

Once the Force units return to the core with the buff, the user can use the power up to make them powerful.

It is different for Guardian-type Rune Tree. Instead of having a carrier to drop off their customer's packages, they could just send it straight to their address without the need of driver. Once the customer receives their package, they will send their tip back without the need of a mediator.

This logic applies for Guardian-type Rune Tree. From our core, they will send up enough Force to give to the Runes. Then, once they received the power they needed, in exchange, they will also send the buff that the zoglarian needs straight to the core.

That is the difference between Rune Tree and Guardian-type Tree. The former has a mediator to deliver its packages to the customers, while the latter can just send it straight to their customer.

However, the reason why Guardians prefer having the former option because it can send multiple deliveries at the same time instead of one at a time. Unlike the Guardian-type, there was no wait time. If two Runes needs Force to be activated, then it will be delivered at the same time.

Alas, that won't work for the latter option as it can only deliver one at a time.
