First day of classes have started, and my first class was Basic Rune Class, which was taught by Professor Windmeg.
The classroom was big and there were fifty first-year students that were already sitting in the chairs. Of all these students, I saw a familiar face sitting behind their desk.
"May I sit here?" I asked Rain. He was reading the textbook that was prepared for us in this class. He averted his gaze to me and nodded.
"Of course." He said.
"How have you been since the Welcome Ceremony?" I asked as I opened my textbook as well to inspect it. Even though I already read this entire book from the library, I still checked it just in case it didn't change nor missed a topic.
"My body still hurts. But I'm taking it easy for now so I could recover fast." He said. "What about you? Have you solved your hungriness?" He jokingly asked.
I rolled my eyes. "Well, I am doing fine. Also, I didn't expect it to be long so I thought I can just eat after the ceremony."
"You should've come prepared." He shrugged. "Well, at the very least we got out of there alive and secured a win." He said while flipping his textbook.
The classroom was noisy due to the fifty students talking at the same time. As one gets louder, the other ones tend to go beyond that. The door opened and Professor Windmeg walked in the class.
The whole classroom went silent fast as Professor Windmeg, wearing his professor uniform with the Galactic Imperial insignia displayed at his right chest, walked in.
"Good morning, students. I see that all of you are lively this morning." He said. The fact that most of these students have droopy eyes told me the opposite of lively. "Let us begin, shall we?"
