Massive, jagged mountains rise from the earth, most likely remnants of ancient civilization?Amid the ruins lies a shard of the Sacred Eclipse, glowing faintly. At the center of the fragment a pulse of energy surges from the shard, sending ripples through the air. A strange ominous presence seems to surround it. There is a small village nestled in the corner of the broken world. The village is in a forest, surrounded by natural, almost untouched beauty. Children play in the streets while older villagers repair homes. At the edge of the village, a lone figure stands overlooking the horizon, where a shard of the sacred Eclipse rests. This figure happens to be Kai, an orphan in his late teens, wearing a tattered cloak. Kai gazes at the shard, examining it. Kai: "so this is what people have been murdering eachother for... Sounds like a hassle honestly." Kai reaches out but stops when he hears someone speak. ??? "Don't you dare lay a finger on that." Kai turns around and sees several masked cloaks (they are the hollow blades) but their leader is unmasked. Kai: "who exactly are you?!" The man chuckles, ???: "I am Zerath, the leader of both the hollow blades (The most powerful Faction in the fractured world, led by the strongest of the world 5. The world 5 are the 5 strongest Eclipsers in the fractured world) first of the world 5 and your family's killer!" Kai's eyes go wide as he takes in the new information. Kai remembers the night his home was purged by Zerath and how his father, the former first of the world 5 was slaughtered in front of him. Kai turns to the shard and grabs it. Zerath: "how dare you put your filthy hands on that!" The shard surges with untamed energy, the energy engulfes and consumes the teen. One of the masked cloaks materializes a blade and charges at the boy. The boy forms an energy ball if Aether and blasts the masked cloak away. The boy instantaneously transforms into a fracture beast. (A fracture beast is a gigantic monstrousity born from the chaos of the world) Kai's reaks havoc upon the village. Best believe I'm coming after that shard kid!" Zerath and his masked cloaks activate their hollow Aether and prepare to destroy the rage blinded Fracture beast, who continues to destroy anything and everything in sight. The village is driven to the point of ruin. Zerath and Fracture beast Kai engage in an incredible battle. Of course the number 1 warrior in the world had the upper hand in this battle. Zerath defeats Fracture beast Kai relatively easily, Zerath is about to take the eclipse shard from the weakened Kai but Kai resists by making a force field around himself. Zerath: "fine keep the shard for now. I'll be back." Kai grits his teeth before blacking out.
