All Owen could remember of his crush then were her deep, green emerald eyes, and long, black wild hair.
Just like the grown up woman before him.
"Mister Owen?." Sabrina's curious voice brought him out of his trance.
"Sorry," he rubbed his forehead, "I just recalled something. Sorrry for interrupting your lunchtime, but I'd like to ask you some questions. They are confidential though."
She blinked, "O-okay. You can ask. I won't be offended."
Owen smiled, "Alright. Do you mind telling me your mother's name?."
She didn't expect such a question, but just when she was about to answer him, Aurora banged in, uninvitedly.
"Owen, I think we should consider Stephanie's contract over—what are you doing here?." She glared at Sabrina who gave blind eyes towards her.
"I summoned her to discuss something." Owen spoke as she walked towards and dropped some files.
Sabrina got up, "I'll take my leave now, Mister Owen. See you later."
Aurora was annoyed by the 'see you later' Sabrina said, like she and Owen had some kind of relationship.
"Stay away from that girl. She's no good news." Sabrina had heard her say just as she closed the door behind her.
She rolled her eyes. If Aurora wouldn't directly cause troubles for her, then she wouldn't have any problem with her.

Sabrina was furiously typing when her phone rang. She ignored it, however, it kept ringing.
Testily, she picked the call without checking,
"Hello."
"Hi." It was a familiar, yet strange voice. Feminine.
Sabrina paused what she was typing, "Who am I speaking with?."
"It's Emily." There was a long silence in the line before Sabrina replied with a grim voice, "Oh, how are you?."
"I am fine." Emily was checking out her nails, her voice filled with fake excitement.
"That's good. Why did you call?."
"You remember our agreement last time right? I was wondering…if we could hang out on Saturday for some meals and talk things out at the newly built restaurant—the Dongers?."
"All right." Sabrina agreed. She wanted to turn down the invitation, but wouldn't it be a little boring if she missed the right time to play with the cunning mouse?
"Thank you so much Sabrina I—." She hung up before Emily could finish speaking and threw her phone aside.
Emily was speechless as she gazed at the blank screen of her phone. What was wrong with her?
.
Sabrina typed and typed until she was the only one left in the department.
She checked the time; 7:30pm. She needed to start leaving.
She packed her stuffs and in a jiffy, she was walking down the street to rush to the bus stop when someone out of the blue grasped her wrist. She nearly screamed in fear.
"Shush, ma'am, it's me, George."
She pulled her hand out of his grip, "You scared the hell out of me."
George shrugged and laughed before pointing at the white Lamborghini that was parked by the side of the road,
"Lexis is in there, waiting for you to get in."
"Lexis?." She looked at the black tinted window of the car, and imagined him staring at her.
She refused, "No, I don't want to. It's too risky. I don't want anyone to see me or suspect anything."
What if the receptionist sees her? Or one of those gossipy women that had been belittling her? She couldn't afford to take such risk. A big freaking NO.
George scratched the back of his head, "Don't worry, no one will see or suspect a thing."
"How can you be so sure?," she eyed him, "tell Alex is I'll get home myself." She walked away from him.
George intended to pull her back but recalling those jealous killer eyes of Lexis, he held back and defeatedly headed back to the car.
"Lexis, she refused saying one of the colleagues might see her."
"And what did you do?." Lexis darted his cold eyes at George, who was giving him a look as though asking 'what could I have done?'
"Go home yourself. I'm driving this car. Alone." Lexis got down from the backseat and moved to the front, which confused George.
"Lexis, I don't understand. I should go home myself ? Whose car will I use?." He questioned with so much pain as though he wanted to cry.
Lexis started the engine, " If you can't find a car to use, trek. Your forefathers trekked then, didn't they?."
Before George could protest, the car sped off.
He stumped his foot angrily on the ground before trying to kick a streetlight when he cried out in pain.
His foot hurt.
He cursed Lexis and Sabrina in his mind.
He cursed Lexis for being so stupid to change his entire personality for a woman, and also cursed Sabrina for changing the mindset of Lexis, and making to act unnecessarily stupid.
.
.
.
A car halted beside Sabrina, who paused.
"Get in." Lexis rolled down the car window.
Sabrina stared at him, "Didn't George tell you what I said?."
"We are far from the company."
"Doesn't mean we are away from it."
Lexis got down from the car and puzzling her, he forced her into the car and locked it before getting in.
Sabrina pouted, "That's not fair."
"It's never fair."
"Lexis people could have seen us. They might have seen us."
Lexis put on his seatbelt, "And so what if they see us? It's not wrong of me to pick my wife from work, is it?."
"We are husband and wife inside, but employee and employer outside."
"That sounds like the craziest thing I've ever heard so far this year." Lexis smiled at her, amused by the annoyed look on her face.
"You don't have to bother to pick me. I'm not ready to be bullied again about climbing bed to work here at the Woodsman's company."
"Let them know you're my wife and you won't be bullied anymore."
Sabrina glared at him, " I'm serious Lexis, people can—mmm!."
Lexis leaned over and shut her up but smashing his mouth gently against hers, tangling his tongue with hers.
He loved the feel of how warm her mouth was, giving her no chance to breathe.
As he pressed her body closer to his, he felt her warm, soft, full breats rubbing against his tanned, sturdy chest.
