Laura felt relieved when she saw so many people standing up for Jessie, stepping forward to express their opinion.
"Jessie, I still have all those contracts they forced us to sign back then. I can release them online now and let everyone know that they’re lying!"
Jessie noticed that Laura was upset. She patted her back to comfort her and said, "Mom, you don't need to worry about this. I have it all under control. People only realize the pain when they fall from the top, and likewise, I should put the evidence out once public opinion peaks in order to strike them where it hurts the most."
"You should go home, organize the documents, and then send them to me. For now, you and Luke stay at home; try not to go out, and cancel your phone number before getting a new one. They've leaked our numbers, so there will certainly be harassment."
Seeing Jessie handling things so calmly and orderly, Laura felt a sense of relief and nodded.
