"Today, we will begin our training," Mr. Hashi announced to the students in the class.
"Excuse me, Sir, I thought we were starting the training next week?" Yen asked.
"According to the Principal's order, we must adjust our schedule and hold the first training today," Mr. Hashi replied.
"Understood, Sir," Yen responded.
"Everyone needs to prepare for our training today. I'll give you five minutes to get ready; after that, you may proceed to the Training Ground," Mr. Hashi announced to the class before leaving the room.
As the students prepared, they began to chat among themselves, curious about the upcoming training.
"What kind of training are we going to do?" Ivan asked Yuto.
"I don't have any idea, but it's much better to be prepared, "Yuto replies Ivan.
"Yeah, you're right,", Ivan said to Yuto.
"I hope I can do it", Finley said to himself.
"Don't worry, you can do it; cheer up", Connor motivates Finley.
"Thanks, Connor" Finley thanked him.
Connor smiles at him while he is tapping Finley's shoulder.
After they prepared for training, the students proceeded to the Training Ground. As they arrived, Mr Hashi welcomed them.
"Welcome to the Training Ground, where we teach and train you all. We will begin our training with Physical Training to help you become physically fit before we start Combat Training." Mr. Hashi welcomed them to the Training Ground and explained the first phase of their training.
Their initial training will focus on Physical Training to prepare their bodies for Combat Training, and Mr. Hashi will start the session with them.
The students train according to their professor's instructions. During their training, some excel right away, while others struggle but receive assistance from their professor and classmates who have already completed their training. Some students are reprimanded due to their performance and are quickly corrected. Everyone is making an effort to train effectively to become physically fit and prepared for their combat training.
After one week, everyone has completed their training, and Mr. Hashi has an announcement to make to the students.
"Your first training session is over. Rest until tomorrow for the next training," Mr. Hashi said to the students as they completed their first training and prepared to leave.
Once he was gone, all the students felt a sense of relief and took a moment to rest on the training ground.
"Finally, it's over! Hahaha!" Ivan exclaimed to his friends.
"Yeah, but we still have combat training ahead," Yuto replied to Ivan.
"For now, we can take a break," Hoka told them.
"So, how are you feeling?" Connor suddenly asks Sandra.
"I'm tired but fit enough, I guess. How about you?" Sandra replies, returning the question to Connor.
"I'm feeling the same as you," Connor responds.
"How about we take a break, guys?" Yuto suggests.
"Let's head to the canteen," Hoka invites them.
"Ivan turned to Hoka and said, 'Sure, let's go, guys! Sandra, you can join us too.' Sandra responded with a thumbs-up. Just then, Yen called out to them.
'Wait, can we join you?' Yen asked, wanting to tag along to the canteen.
'Of course! Let's go,' Yuto replied, and they all headed to the canteen together."
They arrived at the canteen, and Yen stepped forward to order their food at the counter. While they were waiting for the meals Yen had ordered, Loira suddenly arrived and asked for forgiveness for being late.
"Sorry, guys, I'm late," Loira said apologetically.
"No need to worry; you arrived just in time to wait for the food, Loira," Hoka replied.
"Thank you for letting me know," Loira said, noticing Sandra beside her.
"Oh, do you have a new friend here?" Loira asked, referring to Sandra.
"Yes! By the way, let me introduce Sandra Darcy from Soudu—she's Connor's roommate," Yuto said as he introduced Sandra to Loira.
"I'm Loira Brightborn. It's nice to meet you, Sandra," Loira said, extending her hand for a handshake.
"Nice to meet you too," Sandra replies to Loira as she shyly extends her hand for a handshake. Loira suddenly grabs her hand, and they continue their handshake, looking into each other's eyes.
As they shake hands, their hands begin to glow with white and purple light. When they release each other's hands, a mysterious symbol suddenly appears on the palms of both Sandra and Loira. They are taken by surprise at the sight of these symbols on their hands.
"What happened to your hands?" Yuto asked Sandra and Loira.
Loira held up her hand. "This is a sign of a Dark User," she replied, showing the symbol on her palm.
She then pointed to Sandra's hand. "And this is a sign of a Light Bringer," she continued, indicating the symbol on Sandra's hand.
"Wait, I've seen that symbol on a friend of mine before. Does that mean you two are connected in some way?" Amy asked Loira, her curiosity piqued about the symbols on their hands.
"Yes, Amy," Loira happily replies while glancing at Sandra, who is covering her face.
"Oh, so that means you two are in a relationship starting today because of the symbols on your hands?" Yuto asks Loira and Sandra.
"Yes, we are connected through the bloodlines of our clans. These symbols represent the bonds of our love, just like our ancestors experienced," Loira responds, looking at Sandra with affection.
"Even when it's the same gender?" Ivan asks Loira, surprised.
"Yes, as long as you truly love each other, even at first sight," Loira replies.
"Oh, I see," Yuto said as he looked at Loira and Sandra.
"I just confirmed it, Sandra: you like girls, and there's no problem with us," Hoka said while patting her shoulder.
"Yeah, he's right, Sandra! And you're lucky to be in a relationship; we should celebrate that, brother!" Ivan added, winking at her.
"We're happy for you, Sandra, and congratulations on your relationship," Connor said with a smile.
Sandra finally felt relief about embracing her true gender identity. She expressed her gratitude to her friends for accepting her as she truly is, absently scratching her head.
"Thank you, everyone, for accepting me for who I am," Sandra said, especially thanking Connor, who had taught her the value of friendship. Just then, Yen arrived and asked what was happening.
"Your food is here, everyone! Did I miss something?" Yen asked as she approached them.
Loira held up her hand, showing off her hand, along with Sandra's hand. Yen quickly realized what was happening since they were best friends.
"Congratulations, Loira! You've finally found your loved one. I'm so happy for you and Sandra!" Yen exclaimed, celebrating with the two of them.
"Me too! I hope your relationship continues to grow stronger and lasts forever. We're all here to support you," Amy added, congratulating them.
"Thank you, my best friends. I hope you find your loved one soon," Loira replied gratefully, noticing that Connor and the others were already eating.
"Sorry, girls, we eat first because we're hungry," Hoka said to them.
"It's okay, don't worry. We will eat too. Let's eat, girls," Yen invited her best friends to join her and Sandra. They all enjoyed dinner together with Connor and his friends.
After their meal, they said goodbye to each other as they returned to their respective dorm
Meanwhile, Connor and Sandra return to their dorm and discuss their bond with their friends, especially with her loved one, Loira.
"Thanks again, Connor. I've never experienced anything like this before," Sandra said gratefully.
"I thought you liked other guys; I never expected someone like you to change my life," she added, sharing her thoughts with him.
"You're welcome. I hope that things will never change like you did before," Connor replied. Suddenly, Sandra hugged Connor to express her gratitude.
The next day is their rest day, so they meet in the stadium and decide to go to the City of Centrio. However, one of them has a problem.
"How about we go to the city to enjoy our rest day before we start our new training tomorrow?" Yen asks.
"Sure, why not?" Hoka replies in agreement.
"We will join too, right, Sandra?" Loira asks her.
"Yes, but where is Ivan?" Sandra responds, looking around.
"Don't worry about it; I'll find him," Connor assures her before heading off to search for Ivan.
