Chapter 134 - CH: 132 - The Glow Behind Closed Doors

{Chapter: 132 - The Glow Behind Closed Doors}

The soft hum of the television filled the dimly lit living room, casting flickers of blue and white across the furniture. Carol Ferris stood wrapped in a thick white towel, her skin still dewy from the hot shower, a lazy trail of steam rising behind her. Her long dark hair was damp, clinging gently to her neck as she flipped through the news with a focused gaze.

Ever since learning Aiden Graves—her boyfriend—was the Green Lantern, her evenings had subtly changed. She had always been deeply involved in the aerospace and defense world, but now… she found herself drawn to the superhero reports. Metahuman sightings. Paranormal encounters. Superhuman activity. Every time a cape appeared in the sky, every time a villain was brought to justice, she paid attention.

Not because she was afraid. No. Because she compared.

Aiden wasn't just another hero. He wasn't wearing a mask because he needed to feel powerful. He was power. He carried it with grace and burdened himself with responsibility in a way that made her heart ache with both pride and concern. He was the brightest flame in the cosmos—and he'd chosen her.

Carol smiled softly as the news anchor reported, "Oliver Queen claims that the Green Lantern himself rescued him during what appears to be a hostage situation. Queen has refused to give further details…"

Carol leaned forward slightly, her brow raised. "So he actually used you as an excuse," she murmured with a faint laugh. "Smart move."

Just then, the front door whooshed open with that familiar subtle energy ripple. She turned as Aiden stepped inside, his Green Lantern uniform fading away in a soft shimmer of emerald light, leaving him in a simple black tee and pants. His hair was tousled from the wind, and there was still that ever-present flicker of cosmic light in his eyes.

"You came back so soon?" she asked, walking toward him, the towel tightening around her curves as she moved.

Aiden's eyes drank her in with a slow, deliberate gaze—not lustful, but full of warmth and admiration, like she was the one thing in this world that made him forget the weight of the universe.

"I just said hello," he replied, a hint of a smile playing on his lips. "He's not quite ready to understand everything yet, but I planted the seed. If he's curious, he'll find me."

Carol reached for the remote and muted the news. "Oliver Queen. He doesn't have powers, right?"

"No. Just skills. Determination. He fights like he's already lost something."

Carol studied him for a moment, then stepped closer, her hand brushing his arm. "Sound familiar?"

Aiden raised a brow. "I haven't lost you, have I?"

Her laugh was soft, almost breathless. "Not a chance."

Before she could respond further, he stepped in, closing the distance and wrapping an arm around her waist. His hand was warm against the small of her back, steady and strong. She leaned into him instinctively, letting the safety of his presence melt away the last of the day's tension.

"You know," he whispered, tilting his head down until his forehead touched hers, "the galaxy can wait a few hours."

"Only a few?" she teased, eyes twinkling.

"Maybe a few days," he said with a grin. "Depends how persuasive you are."

Carol slipped her arms around his neck, the towel now an afterthought. "You face intergalactic warlords with cosmic rage. You've seen supernovas and dying stars… but you still come back here."

"I come back for you."

The words landed between them like a soft thunder. There was nothing rehearsed in Aiden's voice. He didn't say sweet things to sound charming. He spoke with the same certainty he used when he lit the darkness of a battlefield.

"You're not just someone I love," he continued, brushing her damp hair behind her ear. "You're my gravity. You keep me from getting lost."

Carol's breath hitched. She pressed her palm to his chest, feeling the steady rhythm of his heart beneath it. "I used to be afraid," she admitted quietly. "Afraid that being with someone like you meant I'd always be second to the mission… second to the stars."

She looked up at him, vulnerability showing in the curve of her voice. "But I was wrong. You always come back. Not just in body—but in spirit."

Aiden leaned in and kissed her—slowly, deliberately, like the universe was on pause and this kiss was the only truth that mattered. It was tender, reverent. A silent vow sealed in breath and warmth.

Carol's towel slid off unnoticed as he lifted her gently in his arms, carrying her down the hall toward their room, the glow of green light softly trailing behind them. It wasn't about lust. It was love, laced with awe. The kind that came from seeing someone for everything they were—and loving them even more for it.

As they disappeared behind the bedroom door, the television continued broadcasting in the empty room, the world discussing heroes and powers, debates and headlines.

But in that quiet moment, the only thing that mattered was a man and a woman wrapped not in cosmic light, but in love.

---

In the dimly lit bedroom. Aiden smirked and his hand squeezed her soft ass. Carol immediately understood what he meant but did not refuse instead she slowly reached down and touched the bulging spot on his pants.

Aiden kissed her while massaging her soft butt cheeks slowly stimulating her lust while Carol slowly removed his shirt.

The towel on her body unwrapped and fell to the ground revealing her alluring figure. She bent down on her knees and unzipped his pants.

---

In a big hotel room somewhere in Star City, Aiden sat on a king-sized bed.

While lacking the obvious bust and overly sexual, bimbo style of Natasha or Emma. Carol was clearly a very sensual woman in her own way. Her raven hair was elegantly arranged, flowing down her back and across the nape of her neck in smooth, full waves, coquettishly hiding one eye. The other, a piercing green sphere full of intelligence, peered at Aiden with a slyly playful expression as Carol approached the wide bed.

Carol smirked, hair falling about her face as she let her gaze fall a bit, making it clear she was ogling Aiden's muscular body under his clothes as openly as he had been, and still was, looking at her.

She leaned forward, her breasts nearly falling out, watching as Aiden grinned openly at the display, clearly enjoying the show. "So like what you see babe."

"I'll bet my life on it." Aiden smiled at her, tilting his hat back and exposing his bright, cocky eyes.

Carol stood up slowly, letting her tall body stretch out sensually. She strode towards Aiden across the bed, hips swaying and tits bouncing. Aiden could see every inch of her lean stomach, her hourglass waist, her nice big D-cup breasts with rapidly hardening nipples, and even the folds of her puffy pussy mound.

Carol raised one leg up high, showing off her thighs and tensing her smooth calves as she undid her boot, before repeating the process with her lower leg. Aiden seemed spell bound, her hips bouncing she was completely naked.

"Do you like what you see, Aiden?" Carol asked, her eye glinting playfully.

Aiden just nodded rapidly as already bet his life on it.

Carol leaned forward, bending in half over the bed, her palms spread wide, back arched, ass up, and her tits lightly pressed against the bedsheets. She climbed onto the bed, slowly approaching Aiden on all fours like a predatory cat. Soon she was face to face with Aiden, and she leaned towards him, her hair brushing across his face as her lips just hovered by his cheek.

Trailing her head down, Carol's hands rubbed against his chest, feeling his strong pecs and hard well defined abs through his clothes.

"Sooo strong." She breathed with a slightly shaky voice. Carol was attracted, as Aiden's body was very well formed with muscle. It always helped when a man was already attractive when she wanted to make him feel special.
