Chapter 92 - A WARRIOR'S APPETITE

The battle was over. Mirshad and his brothers drove back home, victorious.

As they stepped into the palace, the comforting aroma of freshly cooked food filled the air.

Sophia and Sara were already waiting.

Sara smirked as she whispered to Sophia, "Smells like a big hunt just ended."

Sophia nodded but kept her eyes on Mirshad. She could feel the weight of the night on him, yet his face showed no emotion.

She stepped closer and asked softly, "Are you okay?"

Mirshad looked at her, his expression calm.

"I'm okay. Just let me take a bath first. I'm starving."

With that, he walked away, heading for the shower.

Sophia watched him leave. He had just slaughtered 100 armored assassins, yet he acted as if nothing had happened. Like it was just another normal night.

She whispered to herself, "Really… a crazy man."

As soon as Mirshad was gone, Amir, Malik, Jabir, and Rayyan all turned toward Sophia and Sara.

Rayyan smirked. "You won't believe what just happened."

Malik leaned forward, eyes shining. "Mirshad didn't just fight tonight… he erased 100 elite soldiers in 10 minutes."

Sara raised an eyebrow. "100? Trained assassins?"

Jabir grinned. "Gone. Just like that."

Amir laughed, shaking his head. "We thought we were dead. When the ambush happened, we saw no way out. But then…"

Rayyan continued, "Then Mirshad appeared. And you know what happened?"

Malik finished the sentence, laughing. "We realized it wasn't us who were dead… it was them."

The room filled with laughter.

Sophia listened quietly, her pride for Mirshad growing with every word.

"They saw him fight, but when he came home, he acted like it was nothing. As if he had just finished a workout. No fear. No exhaustion. Just… complete control."

She couldn't help but smile to herself.

"This man… truly, no one can compare."

As dawn broke, Mirshad stepped outside, fresh and composed.

His mind was already moving toward the next step.

Baba approached him.

"Mirshad… we need to talk."

Mirshad turned, eyes sharp. "What is it, Baba?"

Baba's voice was serious. "That was the fourth attempt on our lives."

Mirshad's expression darkened. "What?"

"David has been trying to kill us for a long time. But tonight, I realized… he's more dangerous than his father ever was."

Mirshad clenched his fists. "How does he know our location? Who betrayed us?"

Baba sighed. "One of our soldiers. David kidnapped his family and tortured him for information. After getting what he wanted… he killed them all."

A deep silence filled the air.

Then Baba added, "But there's one thing David doesn't know. He only knows about us. He doesn't know who MRD really is."

Mirshad exhaled slowly.

"Then it's time for a different kind of war."

Baba frowned. "What are you planning?"

Mirshad's voice was steady. "I will handle this. One by one. Until David has nothing left."

"But you all need to disappear. Go to our secret island, where our private military is stationed. I will take care of everything."

Baba hesitated. "We won't leave you."

Rayyan saw Mirshad's determination. He stepped in. "We will go. But you know us, Mirshad. Wherever you go, our Phantom Reapers will be watching your back."

Mirshad smirked. "I don't need protection."

Rayyan smiled. "We know. But at least let them learn something from you."

Mirshad nodded. "Fine. But once you leave, don't contact me. Just wait. I'll clean this city myself."

The helicopter was prepared.

One by one, the family boarded—except for Mirshad.

Sophia ran to him, hugging him tightly.

She cupped his face, kissed his lips, and whispered:

"Come back fast. I can't wait too long without seeing you."

Mirshad looked into her eyes and promised, "I will. But for now, this is for your safety."

Baba patted his shoulder. "We know, son. Now go… and show them what real power is."*

As the helicopter lifted into the sky, Mirshad stood alone.

For the first time, he had no one to protect.

Now, he could unleash his full force.

The hunt begins.
