Chapter 1 - Chapter - 3

Stephania Ivy Alonzo

The beeping sound of the microwave echoed as the coffee was ready.

Mom and my brother, as usual, sitting with Dad and were having a normal conversation.

I wasn't even interested in hearing their conversation because I knew they had a better connection with each other, which could make them understand well.

I usually don't communicate with them. I mean, staying out of the circle in my own world.

I prefer that. I mean, once you open up, people use it against you; nowadays, it's difficult to find true friends because people are obsessed with themselves and tend to use people for their own advantage.

At some point, I have already lost my trust in my family members too. The family incident did break my heart into a million pieces, but I don't care. After all, it's a part of life.

I just took my coffee and saw them catching up well. I didn't intend to disturb them but just walked in and smiled.

Dad did ask me to join, but I refused with an excuse for the college assignment. I didn't want to join. Suddenly, I saw his right leg.

Then I took my leave, leaving the door closed. I know well what could have stopped me from getting involved. The answer was his leg.

Definitely, it has been a year since his operation, but still, my trust in male dominance is reduced to null.

Earlier there was a little bit of respect but after hearing some news and learning the shattering truth about your family

I mean, those dark days of ICU and then the revelation of unacceptable things shattered me.

Thinking about my mom who decided to live in is weird, but according to scripture,, it's a sin to divorce.

Anyway, I exhausted everything related to it and began to type my draft. It was definitely my novel named "The Love Under The Moonlight".

I began to write it at the age of 15 when I was in 10th Grade; I had a strong fondness for reading.

I never created it; it was something I felt like I experienced on my own. I always doubted, but then I took it as bait from overthinking.

I began to write, but then I stopped due to my exam pressure and everything. Obviously, my parents stopped me from writing.

That didn't stop me from being who I am I used to update monthly and after my summer vacation break from School

I began to update daily, and this continued for 3 months when my college began.

I got busy with academics, events, presentations, and many more things, so I decided to update yearly.

Half of the time was spent on the draft, then after some part of my time editing through the editing app.

I have posted my novels on different platforms like Bobvel, Sceretfantasy and Globalvel.

I started reading manga from Globalvel when I was new to this thing.

Everything was fine then due to my gaps and the late update didn't attract the viewer much.

But a few weeks back, I began to update and post new chapters because I enrolled myself in the SassySummer 2025 Contest, so to win it, I began to enhance myself.

Every day I update 3- 4, or after some gap, I post 10 chapters for my viewer. The data of the top 10 hasn't been renewed, so the list is old, but who cares? I know well that I am not getting into it.

Now that I have created 3 new and published ones so, I think my sky has found the silver lining.
