It was the sound of several people typing on holographic keyboards in a room illuminated solely by the screens.

Several pairs of eyes turned toward the door. Upon realizing who it was, they looked at her with puzzlement, as if it were the first time they had seen her enter that place.
And it was true.
She never entered the monitoring room for the tests of the candidates applying to the "Silver Heroes Institute" each year.
The person who had just crossed the threshold sat down, ignoring everyone, her eyes fixed on the screens. No one said anything; they only watched her with curiosity.
One of those people, unable to resist the doubt, asked:
"Director… what brings you here?"
The woman crossed her legs with an emotionless gaze. It was like looking at a block of ice, devoid of any reaction.
