"Don't think you're getting past!"
The moment Ikki touched the ball, Dada immediately closed in from nearby.
He hadn't expected this kid to appear there, intercepting Julian's intended pass.
After witnessing the intense 1v1 battle between Ryōsuke and Julian, Ikki took a calculated risk — betting that his teammate could contain Julian and force him to pass.
He seized that exact moment to complete the interception.
"This little guy — was he always this fast? No matter!" To Dada, Ikki was merely a speck of dust to be crushed — the physical gap between them was insurmountable!
Though the kid's speed surprised him slightly, Dada knew that just a bit of pressure would force a mistake.
As Dada closed in, Ikki didn't hesitate — he immediately launched a powerful pass.
Meguru successfully received the ball!
"Can't let Kira steal all the spotlight! Time to show what we can do!" He skillfully controlled the ball with his chest and drove forward!
"Haven't you learned your lesson?"
He'd barely advanced when Pablo rushed to block him at full speed.
In their previous encounters, he had effortlessly stripped the ball from Meguru's feet. The kid's proud dribbling skills meant nothing against him.
Now they faced off again.
"Shut up, shut up!" Meguru shouted, charging fearlessly toward his opponent.
Pablo noticed the change in him.
Meguru's mental focus had sharpened, his speed and rhythm becoming more dynamic.
❖ Flow! ❖
He had entered the Flow State once again!
Though he couldn't yet enter Flow at will, his burning desire to match these world-class stars had pushed him back into this state.
Ryōsuke had shown he could compete with these top-tier players—how could he miss this chance?
He charged straight at Pablo, executing a pendulum feint.
"That won't work on me! Your movements are too predictable!" Pablo spotted the flaw in his dribbling motion and moved to intercept.
But in that instant, Meguru's movement changed!
His right foot moved like a paintbrush, flicking the ball—meant to be pulled back—up onto his toe instead, then launching it high over Pablo's head.
The earlier dribble had been Meguru's trap, baiting him to lean forward and lose his position!
"His ball control has become more fluid and free!" Pablo realized this kid had transformed—he'd definitely gotten stronger.
Though still far from Ryōsuke's level, Meguru now posed a hint of threat—something the old version of this kid could never have managed.
What was going on?
"You're not getting through!"
❖ Flow! ❖
Pablo became more serious, instantly entering his own Flow State.
His speed surged as he used his agility to position himself directly in Meguru's path again, despite having just been beaten.
"Still couldn't get past?" Meguru was surprised, though he understood why.
Even in Flow State, the skill gap between them remained vast — yet that previous moment had definitely narrowed it.
"These days, I won't carelessly pass to someone who hasn't exceeded my expectations." Meguru protected the ball while scanning for his teammates' positions, "But now, you've appeared beyond my expectations — let's see just how far you can go! This is getting interesting!"
An excited smile spread across his face as he launched the ball.
The ball sailed toward Adam.
"A forced error under pressure? I'll gladly take this one." Adam prepared to control the ball with his chest.
But just then, his peripheral vision caught a figure lunging like a fierce tiger.
"This ball is meant for me!"
Rensuke had arrived!
In his sprint burst state, he charged straight for Meguru's pass. Though Adam's frightening physicality had taught him a harsh lesson before, he didn't back down.
To become a hero, one must face all challenges head-on — just like Ryōsuke, daring to challenge world-class stars!
Earlier, the gap in status and ability had made him timid, but watching Ryōsuke battle Julian had reignited his fighting spirit.
"A foolish decision!" Adam tilted his head toward Rensuke, having already secured his position.
He was certain to reach the ball first — the physical gap between them was absolute.
"How could I possibly stand idle!" But in that moment, Rensuke unleashed what seemed like limitless power, charging forward fearlessly to challenge Adam.
At impact, the tremendous force made Adam's balance waver!
"What?!" He was stunned.
Theoretically, Rensuke shouldn't have been able to move him at all, yet in this moment, his strength had suddenly exploded.
❖ Flow! ❖
This was Rensuke's awakening — he too had entered the Flow state!
He seized this momentary opportunity, blocking Adam's position while using his arm to keep him behind. He had gained better positioning.
Meguru's pass was already descending!
"You little...!" Adam was clearly enraged, unleashing his full power, "Your dominant foot is your left — there's no way you can shoot with me in front of you!"
The slight advantage Rensuke had gained vanished as Adam regained his balance and applied constant pressure, making Rensuke lose his footing and preventing him from generating power.
In terms of core strength, he could never match this opponent, who had already spotted through subtle movements that he was left-footed.
Rensuke's left foot was closer to Adam — there was no way he'd get a chance to shoot with his dominant foot!
But at this moment, Meguru's ball arrived in front of him!
"Don't underestimate me!" Rensuke's voice roared like thunder!
In that instant, he stepped forward with his right foot and took the shot directly!
This was his first time attempting a right-footed shot in a match!
After completing the shot, without his right leg for support, Rensuke crashed to the ground. Ignoring the pain, he kept his eyes fixed on the racing ball!
The shot was devastatingly powerful, like a cannon blast heading straight for the goal!
"I can block it!"
Dada rushed to intercept, but Seishirō stood in his path.
"I won't let you through." He spoke with absolute seriousness, emanating a powerful aura he hadn't shown before!
"Get out of my way!" Dada erupted in fury, his whole body exploding with power as he used his tank-like physique to forcefully push Seishirō aside.
Even for a genius like Seishirō, there was no matching Dada's physical ability and raw strength.
But he succeeded in delaying Dada for one crucial second — that single second meant he couldn't interfere with the shot!
The goal was wide open!
"Did we get it?!"
Everyone's attention focused on Rensuke's shot.
Just as the ball was about to cross the goal line, a figure burst forth like a cheetah from the other side.
'The Scion of Royale', Leonardo Luna!
He raced toward the goal with all his might, leaped powerfully, and threw everything into heading away Rensuke's shot!
The ball bounced away as Leonardo fell to the ground, covered in mud.
"Damn it." Lying on the ground, Rensuke pounded the earth in frustration.
He had given that last shot everything he had, coming so close to scoring.
But his opponents were world-class players — the moment Adam lost position, Leonardo had prepared for the worst, immediately rushing to the goal and using his keen instincts and superior physical abilities to block the shot.
"That was close, so close..." He wiped the sweat from his brow as he got up.
Though desperate, Rensuke's shot had genuinely threatened them.
In that moment, all five members of the Team World Five had been on edge, their hearts in their throats, as if fighting for their lives.
"These guys... what's going on with them?" Dada asked in confusion, sensing that the entire opposing team had transformed.
Originally only Ryōsuke was qualified to face them — but in that last play, the others had unleashed unprecedented power.
Though still far from these top players' level, the gap between them had somehow narrowed in an instant.
What was going on?
❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖
"How are they pushing world-class players this far? How are they doing this?!" Anri stared at the screen in disbelief, trembling with excitement, "So close, we were so close!"
"Not that close at all. That shot was never going to go in — the gap in technique and physical ability is too large to overcome. The block was inevitable." Jinpachi pushed up his glasses, paused briefly, then continued, "But I have to admit, these star players genuinely felt threatened just now. Lions feeling threatened by ants — that alone could be called a miracle."
"But how did they do it? Even Kunigami, who's weak with his right foot, tried forcing a shot against England's top scorer." Anri was bewildered — this match had completely exceeded her expectations.
"Because of Kira." Jinpachi focused his gaze on Ryōsuke's face on the screen, "He contained Loki, without a doubt. His actions were like a flame that ignited everyone else's hearts, allowing them to unleash their power and surpass themselves in that moment."
Though his tone remained calm, internally he couldn't help but marvel at Ryōsuke.
His actions had created a series of miracles. He was the winning formula personified.
At this moment, Jinpachi's beliefs were shaken for the first time.
Though Ryōsuke hadn't scored a single goal in this match, every goal connected back to him. No matter his position or action, he influenced the flow of the game.
And the match had certainly gotten his blood pumping too.
"Let's stop the match, little Anri."
"Stop the match? Why? Aren't we at the climax right now?"
"Luna's save just now worried me — the injury risk is too high. If any of these stars get hurt, their clubs will definitely pressure us. Besides, the main purpose was to test Blue Lock's strength, and these five have completed their evaluation." Jinpachi explained.
"If we don't stop the match, do you think the Team World Five would lose?" Anri pressed.
"Impossible. Except for Kira, the physical gap is absolute. Look at Kunigami and Niko — they're almost completely exhausted after just a few attacks. That last surge nearly drained them entirely. Even giving everything they had only slightly narrowed the gap, and the difference remains insurmountable. What's more, the Team World Five weren't even being serious from the start." As Jinpachi spoke, his eyes remained fixed on the screen.
Though the Team World Five members were drenched in sweat, they were far from their limit, while most of the Blue Lock team members were running out of stamina. The exception was Ryōsuke, who showed no signs of fatigue.
With his teammates' stamina depleted, could he win against the Team World Five?
Though Jinpachi had just given a negative answer, doubt lingered in his heart.
Just how many miracles could Ryōsuke create?
