...
While all this was happening, in another part of the galaxy...
We find ourselves on an unknown planet, one with no intelligent life to inhabit it. The planet was in the early stages of its development and, although it did possess life, it was limited to primitive organisms such as plants and animals of various kinds, some resembling those of Earth, while others were completely different.
Now, the real question everyone might ask is: Why are we focusing on such a primitive planet? The answer lies in the presence of two beautiful women standing near a spaceship with a distinctly futuristic design.
The first girl had short, vibrant pink hair in a messy yet elegant style. Her face featured delicate, well-defined traits, with large, expressive eyes that stood out against her soft complexion. She had a youthful stature and a slender silhouette with modest curves. Her skin was smooth and fair, and she wore a somewhat peculiar outfit that highlighted her unique charm and a tail like Lala. Her name was Momo Belia Deviluke, the third princess of the Kingdom of Deviluke, daughter of Gid, and therefore the youngest sister of Lala.
The second girl had long, flowing pink hair that cascaded around her shoulders, part of which was styled into twintails that framed her beautiful face. Her features were soft and refined, with calm, serene eyes and an expression that enhanced her natural beauty. She also had a slender and elegant figure, with a notably flat chest, flat as an ironing board, one might say. Her personality, however, contrasted with her gentle appearance: she was a classic tsundere, quick to anger and only showing her tender side to her mother and her sister Lala. Her name was Nana Astar Deviluke, the second princess of the Kingdom of Deviluke, daughter of Gid, Lala's younger sister, and Momo's twin.
Unlike their older sister Lala, Momo and Nana were neither incredibly intelligent nor considered prodigies, but each of them possessed very special abilities.Momo, in particular, had the unique power to communicate with and control plants, regardless of their type or planetary origin.
On the other hand, Nana had the ability to control and communicate with animals and had an innate affinity with them.
Both were dedicated to going from planet to planet, collecting plants and animals that they then deposited in a separate space. This feature was one of the APPS that her sister had created for them and that contained a large space inside, suitable for animals and plants to live with all the comforts they would have in their natural habitats.
Today was one of those many times that they had gone out to hunt some animals and plants from a planet that they had just found, but when they arrived, they both received news on their Smartphones that almost made them jump in surprise: Her sister Lala had found a fiancé!
"The sister has found a fiancé, impossible, she is not interested in romance, it must be a hoax!" – Nana said.
Nana was angry. How was it possible that her sister who was not interested in romance suddenly found a fiancé? It wasn't even 3 weeks since they left their father's spaceship and when they left, their sister was in her room, inventing, as always!
"I'm afraid it's not, read the news well" – Momo said impressed.
Hearing this, Nana read the whole news because before she had only read a couple of lines before saying those words, but when she finished reading the news, she was surprised again.
"It can't be...!" – Nana said surprised.
"It seems so. Father has already approved the marriage, it's official, our sister has found a fiancé" – Momo nodded.
After all, who would dare to fake a news story related to the King? Obviously no one would dare to do that.
"But sister... no, it's not possible!" – Nana said in amazement.
Nana still couldn't believe it. Had his sister really been engaged and that commitment had been approved by his father? This couldn't be happening!
"Oh, here also comes the information of our sister's fiancé. Let's see... Akira Sato, earthling from planet Earth, from a country called Japan..." – Momo read.
"What, an earthling?!" – Nana exclaimed.
Nana quickly read all the information regarding her sister's fiancé.
"He really is an earthling! But how?! Earthlings are so crude and primitive! How could Dad accept that our sister got engaged to an earthling?" – Nana said angrily.
Never in her entire life did she consider that, in the future, her sister would marry an earthling.
"Well, I think he's pretty handsome, and since humans haven't joined Father yet due to their primitive technology, there's no way our sister was forced into it" - Momo said.
After all, humans were still quite primitive and not officially part of their father's domain. For the time being, they were merely under his protection, and very few individuals were ever granted permission to travel to Earth, a planet heavily guarded by their father.
"Are you implying that our sister chose him herself?" - Nana asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Exactly" - Momo nodded.
How else could their father allow their sister to get engaged to a human? He was a strong believer in not attacking or forcing underdeveloped civilizations to join his empire until they reached a certain technological threshold... and humans were still far from meeting that standard.
"But… how did our sister even end up on Earth?" - Nana asked, clearly puzzled.
"She probably ran off again and accidentally landed there. As for the rest of the story, you'll have to ask her yourself" - Momo replied.
Though Momo wasn't quite on the same intellectual level as Lala, that didn't mean she was lacking in brains. She was clever, cunning, perceptive, and often noticed things that escaped most people's attention.
"Then let's go to Earth right now!" - Nana declared with determination.
"I'm also curious about how they met and he also looks quite handsome. Do you think he will accept concubines?" – Momo said.
"Momo, you...!" – Nana said angrily.
"It was a joke, calm. Although... I think it's not impossible..." – Momo said.
Although as Princess Lala she received many marriage proposals, Nana and Momo also received many, all of them from powerful nobles and all of them had been rejected so far, but... Who knows how many proposals they could continue to reject? It is likely that their father will get fed up one day and decide to marry them to some ugly and disgusting nobleman who only wants them for their bodies.
"Momo. How can you say that?" – Nana asked.
"Nana, let's face it. How many marriage proposals have them sent us so far?" – Momo asked.
Nana shrugged.
"Many, but it is impossible to know the exact number, dozens of them arrive every day" – Nana said.
Although they didn't read any, they both know that they receive dozens of marriage proposals daily.
"Be honest with me. Do you like any of the nobles who have sent them?" – Momo asked again.
Unless you occupy a moderately important position in the galaxy, you couldn't send marriage proposals to the royal family, so all proposals were sent by nobles.
"Of course not, I've checked everyone and the vast majority are ugly, fat and/or with bad intentions!" – Nana said.
By bad intentions she means that they only want to marry her for her body, that is, to do perverted things.
"That's right, I also checked out all the other candidates, and I don't like any of them. So, if that Earthling doesn't have a bad personality… wouldn't he be a good option? After all, our sister chose him for a reason, and Father would never have approved if there wasn't something that made him stand out from all those nobles" - Momo said thoughtfully.
It was clear that there had to be something special about this human for their father to accept him as Lala's fiancé and heir to the throne. Their father wasn't foolish, he would never allow his position to be inherited by a noble with bad intentions. So, what did he see in that Earthling?
"Well… now that you mention it… he doesn't seem bad, and what you said makes sense, but… I don't want to get engaged to someone I don't love" - Nana replied.
Momo's words made sense. In fact, Nana would much rather marry Akira than any of the arrogant nobles they'd been introduced to. But still, the idea of getting engaged to someone she didn't genuinely love made her hesitate.
"Don't worry. Let's just go to Earth and get to know him. Feelings can grow over time, don't you think?" Momo said with a reassuring smile.
She also found Akira attractive and definitely preferable to the other disgusting suitors. She wasn't in love with him either, but she understood that emotions could develop with time. If her sister, who had never shown any interest in romance until now, had fallen in love with him… then maybe they could too. Perhaps, if they truly got to know him, love could blossom.
Momo, as mentioned earlier, was no fool. She was perfectly aware that the day they would have to accept a marriage proposal was coming soon, in fact, it might even be the very reason why Lala ran away in the first place. In the royal family, it was tradition that princesses were required to be engaged by the age of 15, a rule imposed by their father. Why? None of them really knew, but it was the law. Lala had turned 15 just a couple of months ago, and it was likely that their father had tried to betroth her to a noble she despised. So, she ran away, ended up on Earth by chance, met that human, and eventually fell in love with him.
*Note: Lol, Momo figured it all out. Funny, right?
Since the age of engagement was 15, it would soon be their turn. Momo and Nana were both 14 years old, twins, born on the exact same day. Based on what had happened with their sister, it was only a matter of time before their father chose a noble to marry them in the future, and only a few months remained.
Of course, the twins had already gone through the entire noble database, reviewing the proposals and researching every single candidate, but none of them stood out in a good way. Most were fat and ugly and not that being fat or ugly was inherently bad but on top of that, many of them collected women like trading cards and had massive harems. Those were immediately disqualified. A few of them were decent-looking and single, but none matched their tastes.
So maybe… just maybe, Akira was their last chance. Who knew who their father might try to marry them off to once they turned fifteen?
"Okay... I'll listen to you. Let's go to Earth" – Nana said.
Nana was a tsundere and had a somewhat aggressive nature, but she was very easily distracted by her twin sister despite being a minute older than her.
"How far is the Earth from this planet?" – Nana asked.
"According to my intergalactic map... More than a week, but we don't have fuel to get there and this spaceship is not a spaceship that can travel such distances, so we will have to go through Father's spaceship to catch a new, more powerful spaceship. I estimate it will take us 2 weeks to arrive, maybe a few more days" – said Momo.
