Backstory [ Updated ]
The only son of Jean Rosier and Philip Reeves, Arthur was hidden away after his parents were murdered by Voldemort. Arthur Reeves was raised in secrecy by his godfather, Remus Lupin, never knowing who his parents truly were or what had happened to them. The wizarding world had moved on, and Arthur grew up in silence—no fame, no prophecy, no mention of Voldemort.
That changed in his first year at Hogwarts, when he crossed paths with a weakened Voldemort during the Philosopher's Stone incident. The dark wizard revealed the truth: Arthur's parents had been murdered for trying to protect him, and Arthur himself had survived a killing curse as a baby. It was the first time Arthur learned who Voldemort was—and who he truly was.
Haunted and seeking answers, Arthur trained that summer ( for two weeks) with his reclusive uncle Cassian, a magical creature specialist from America. But one night, after a revelation by his uncle, he broke into the Department of Mysteries—and found two hidden prophecies.
One declared that he and Voldemort were forever bound, and one would have to kill the other.
The other, more cryptic, claimed Arthur was never meant to live past childhood—Voldemort's failed curse had shattered fate, opening a future where greater evils than Voldemort might rise again.
Now, entering his second year, Arthur carries the weight of a life that shouldn't exist, and the burden of a future only he can change.
