Junghwa got up from his seat. He had since abandoned his cup of tea and stepped closer towards Wooyun, this time stopping just short of touching him.
"You're still you," he said. "But now you can carry power without it killing you. That's the difference."
"If I had known I would have to endure so much by becoming your disciple, I would've seriously reconsidered my decision." He laughed bitterly.
This was still better than his previous situation, so he had no room to complain. He had a room to himself, three hot meals every day, and enough leisure that he didn't have to worry about doing chores all day.
Junghwa didn't interrupt. He let the silence stretch for a moment longer before saying, voice soft but cutting, "Then struggle well. Because whether you want it or not, you came here of your own free will, and you're part of this sect now, meaning you belong to me and aren't allowed to escape just yet."
