"Then why did you suddenly fall in love with him?" That was a crazy question to ask, a really crazy one.
I mean, who in her right senses would see Zeeland and not fall in love with him?
"He's handsome, he's smart, he's rich and he's the first son of late king Uther. Do I need any more reasons to love him?"
"I guess not." I blew out a tired breath.
"But it seems I shouldn't have fought anymore when I realized I and Zeeland were meant to be friends and not partners. I'm sorry I said things I wasn't supposed to say to you."
She rose from her sitting position and knelt down again. "Can you find it in your heart to forgive me?"
I hesitated. Should I forgive her and allow her back into Zeeland's life? Of course, if I forgave her, Zeeland would too and that meant they would be back as friends.
Would I be able to handle it? 'Of course not. You would end up committing murder.' Celyn's voice filled my ears.
