The video was broadcast across the entire city, but people were watching it all over the world.
Excitement flooded the streets. People murmured, authorities were confused—was this a joke or an act of terror? Some were glued to their phones, others turned on their TVs.
Live on air: a mysterious man in a black kimono and a mask. He adjusted the camera slightly, coughed, and stepped back.
"What's going on?" murmured the citizens. "Who's that weirdo in the mask?"
"Greetings to the people of Seoul, and perhaps the entire world."
The stranger's voice was clearly altered. Unnaturally deep, as if distorted by filters or… something otherworldly.
"My name is Mordred. The recent events in the world concern everyone on Earth. Myself included."
A brief pause.
At the Demon Hunters Association, warning lights flared. The unauthorized broadcast was reported instantly. Staff in the control room had already projected the transmission onto the main screen.
