Inside the Raikage's office, an eerie silence fell.

When Akio blurted out "Granny ", the two Raikage clearly didn't understand, but it didn't sound like anything good...

"You—" The Second Raikage slammed the table and stood up, about to speak, but Akio cut him off:

"You what? I don't have time to play with you two. Goodbye!"

Without hesitation, Akio smashed through the wall beside him and flew out.

"A ninja who can fly? Mu, you dare to disguise yourself and infiltrate Kumogakure—then don't think about leaving!" The Second Raikage finally came to his senses and shouted.

"Bee! Help me hold him here!"

Akio's heart stirred. "Mu?" Without hesitation, he secretly formed hand seals, transforming into the bandaged form of the Second Tsuchikage. He swiftly weaved signs:

"Dust Release: Detachment of the Primitive World Technique!"

"It really is you!" the Second Raikage roared. In the next instant, the Raikage Building was swallowed up by the Dust Release.

"No injuries? How did he evade it?" Akio frowned. B had escaped the building in advance, but the Second Raikage clearly hadn't exited.

Sensing more and more Kumogakure shinobi closing in, Akio sighed, "I should prioritize the broker's situation... I'll go deal with those two brothers first."

With that, he quickly flew away.

"Big bro!"

Seeing Akio fly off, B, who had been on guard, rushed toward the ruins of the Raikage Building.

"I'm fine, B! Pfft!" The Second Raikage spat out a mouthful of dust.

"B, you're faster—go after him! Stall him outside the Land of Lightning, we can't fight inside the village. I'll bring reinforcements right after!"

Meanwhile, Akio was flying at high speed, cursing himself inwardly:

"This trip has been nothing but stupidity! I should've been more cautious when the caravan wasn't attacked in the Land of Rivers... Hopefully, the broker is still safe."

"Hmm?"

Akio frowned, sensing a strong gust behind him. He quickly dropped altitude.

Just as he landed, a burly figure crashed into the ground, creating a massive crater.

Akio glanced at him, then looked up at the sky. His mouth twitched.

"Seriously? I was flying nearly a hundred meters up... You can jump that high?"

It was none other than B, who had chased him from Kumogakure. As soon as they crossed out of the Land of Lightning, B leapt to attack Akio.

"Then I'll just fly even higher!" Akio took off again, heading toward the Land of Hot Water.

"Stay here!" B shouted and jumped again. Akio frowned and parried a punch, causing B to drop while he himself ascended even higher.

Hovering in the sky, Akio rubbed his arm and looked down at the newly formed crater with a sigh.

"If I go a bit higher, you won't be able to reach me... But honestly, I'm pissed right now. Ever heard of a technique that smashes down from the heavens?"

He focused for a moment. Sage Mode, activate!

Eight Gates Released Formation, Seventh Gate—Gate of Wonder, Open!

Head pointed downward, Akio dove at high speed, palm extended toward B.

Confident in his physical toughness and Taijutsu skills, B didn't dodge. His body erupted in black lightning as he threw a punch toward Akio.

Just before impact, Akio muttered:

"Earth Release: Ultra-Hardening Technique! Earth Release: Super-Weighted Boulder Technique!"

A deafening crash echoed out.

Akio stood off to the side, deactivating the Eight Gates and Sage Mode, rubbing his sore arm. Looking at the bottomless, human-shaped crater, he grimaced.

"Oops... Got a little carried away and punched too hard..."

"Given his body's toughness, he shouldn't die... But I don't think even my Earth Release could dig him out. Dust Release...? Forget it. I'll just assume he's tough enough to survive."

Sighing, Akio flew off at high speed.

Ten minutes later, the Second Raikage arrived with a squad of elite shinobi and saw the human-shaped pit.

"B!"

The Second Raikage shouted downward, scanning the surroundings, but Akio was nowhere to be seen. He exhaled slowly and ordered the elites to start digging.

After nearly half an hour of hard labor, they finally unearthed B.

At this point, Killer Bee looked utterly miserable—his right arm twisted unnaturally, a faint palm mark sunken into his chest, and he was unconscious.

The Raikage inspected him and finally relaxed. It was only external injuries.

After a moment of silence, he thought grimly:

"Is the Second Tsuchikage really this strong?"

"Raikage-sama, what are your orders now?"

A jōnin beside him asked carefully.

The Second Raikage frowned deeply.

"You two, take B back for treatment! The rest of you, follow me! We're going after Kinkaku and Ginkaku! That damned Tsuchikage has gone too far!"

Meanwhile, Akio had already reached the skies above the Land of Hot Water.

What was once a bustling street was now a wasteland. Earth Release shinobi were busy clearing rubble, preparing to establish the Hidden Hot Water Village.

"Kagura Mind's Eye!"

Akio activated his sensory technique. Moments later, his expression darkened.

"No trace of the broker's chakra... Dammit."

He kept the Kagura Mind's Eye active as he circled the ruins but found no sign of the broker's chakra signature.

"Could he have fled to the Land of Rivers?"

Akio could only console himself with that thought.

As he retraced his path, he still couldn't find the broker—but he did sense two very familiar chakras.

"The Nine-Tails' chakra... So Kinkaku and Ginkaku are here. Finally found you."

Akio narrowed his eyes.

"Their chakra reserves are massive—together, they might even surpass mine. They really aren't as weak as when they were first reincarnated... Each of them might be stronger than the young Third Raikage. Plus, their special forces unit... Not bad at all."

"I'll search one more time for the broker. If I still can't find him, then today will be your death day, Kinkaku, Ginkaku."

Akio sighed, extending his Kagura Mind's Eye across the entirety of the Land of Rivers.

"Still no sign?"

He descended to the ground near the Land of Rivers' border, sitting down and muttering to himself.

"Maybe the broker fled to another country... If he were still here, facing Kinkaku and Ginkaku, he wouldn't resist to the bitter end, right?"

Akio smiled bitterly.

"That kid really is stubborn..."

"Well then... Kinkaku, Ginkaku, your time is up!"

Just as Akio stood up, his expression tightened. Another familiar chakra signature had appeared.

"The Second Raikage? Why did he come all the way to the Land of Rivers?! And he's brought a bunch of jōnin!"

"I really want to know how he survived or dodged my Dust Release earlier..."

Akio glanced at his status.

After all the battles and flying around, his chakra was down to less than seventy percent.

He needed to find a place to recover before facing the three enemies.

Thinking about it, Akio suddenly froze.

"Why have I been fighting alone all this time? Why do I keep thinking I have to kill all three of them by myself? Kinkaku and Ginkaku have already declared war on Konoha—why not just go back, find Tobirama, and tag-team them two-on-three? No matter how strong they are, we'll still win."

Akio's mouth twitched, cursing himself.

"Old as I am, still clinging to this 'lone hero' mentality, thinking I could single-handedly resolve all the trouble in the Land of Lightning."

"To hell with being a lone hero! Time to head back to Konoha and round up a crew for a good old-fashioned group beatdown!"
