The old man who had urged me to speak looked back at them. "Even if the Alpha is not here, you should respect his words and throne."
"Ohh, please, he is not here now. Is he? We can't let this woman guide us." He turned his gaze to me. "Leave here; this scary place is only meant for strong men like us."
I fumed silently and smiled, I thought the advisory board was as nice as the Alpha. I guess I was wrong, I made my way to the entrance slowly.
"Just an ordinary woman, who knows what disgusting work she was doing before the crowned prince brought her here."
His statement made me stop. I could not leave like this. The Alpha has asked me to guide them, and leaving here will only look like I am weak. The Alpha's words won't be held in high regard. I turned back and walked towards the plumpy man, I stood before him confidently.
