It had been a month since the Cosmic Sovereign had risen. No word, no sighting, not a whisper since that fateful meeting where he shook the heavens with his demands. But that silence was broken today.
In the Fire Domain, the streets buzzed with confusion and curiosity. Massive construction work had begun. Demonic laborers, cloaked in a human guise but radiating a subtle demon aura, were building a road—an enormous, glowing path unlike anything seen before. It stretched beyond the horizon.
A man stepped forward and asked one of the laborers, "Where does this road lead?"
The laborer didn't even look up. He kept working and answered plainly,
"This is the way… to the Cosmic Realme."
The crowd fell silent. Murmurs rippled through them.
"The Cosmic Realme?"
"So it exists?"
"Who is this Cosmic Sovereign?"
"Wasn't he from our domain?"
No name had been publicly announced yet. Only rumors—whispers that he was once a commoner, an orphan of the Flame Dominion.
Meanwhile, on the other side of existence, the Cosmic Realme had been born.
Blue grass blanketed the land, gently swaying under a purple sky. It was the Void of Spirit and Time, once unstable and chaotic, now tamed and transformed into a breathtaking realm. At its heart stood the Black Palace of the Sovereign, majestic and towering, surrounded by a glowing society—homes, gardens, glowing bridges, and spires of black crystal. A grand marketplace bustled with strange beings—demon merchants, former slaves, now citizens.
Around the palace stood the newly formed army camp, filled with warriors from different races, all loyal to one cause.
Valieon sat upon his throne at the center of it all. He was alone in thought, gazing into the swirling sigils of a scroll.
He had created this paradise from nothing, from dust and memory. But one decision still remained…
Who would lead his army?
He needed someone who knew battle, someone who had seen blood and betrayal—but still had heart. He needed someone… loyal.
Just then, the giant black doors creaked open. Someone entered.
It was Veridian.
Valieon immediately stood up, surprised and smiling.
"Hello, my friend. Welcome… to my realm."
Veridian looked around at the blue grass, the crystal towers, the demon guards posted in perfect formation. He let out a slow breath and walked forward, his cloak brushing the glimmering floor.
"I'm getting straight to the point," Veridian said, his voice steady.
Valieon nodded. "Go on."
Veridian stopped at the steps of the throne and looked him in the eyes.
"I want to join your forces. I want to become your Army General."
Valieon blinked—his expression lit up instantly. This was it. The exact person he had been searching for.
"But…" Valieon asked with a smirk, "Aren't you the fierce warrior of the Fire Domain? Ashar's right hand?"
Veridian chuckled, "I'd rather stand next to my friend than become a servant of my friend's competitor."
That answer hit Valieon straight in the chest.
He stepped down, placed his hand on Veridian's shoulder, and simply said,
"Then from this moment on… you are the General of the Cosmic Army."
A silence passed between them. Then Valieon added,
"And from this day forward… this army shall be known as the Eternal Dread Legion. Not just an army, but a force that will shake the roots of every realm."
Veridian grinned. "That name suits us perfectly."
Trumpets rang across the Cosmic Realme. The demon horns howled into the sky. Crystals pulsed with energy.
The words echoed through every realm:
> Veridian has been chosen. He is the General of the Eternal Dread Legion—under the rule of the Cosmic Sovereign.
And with that, the army of the Cosmic Realme was complete.
