Kaelith drove into his parents' mansion, and standing before the house was his mother and a few others. He smiled as he parked the car and got down from it.
"Baby," he heard as she walked towards him, smiles all over her face.
Kaelith smiled back as he hugged her warmly, breathing into her soft body.
"How have you been?" she asked as they released the hug.
Kaelith moved to the back of his car, opened his trunk, brought out his traveling pack, and then looked back at his mother.
"I can't say it was that good. I mean, these four weeks could've been a lot better, but I persevered," Kaelith smiled.
Mrs. Sinclair smiled as she ruffled his hair. "It's going to be better. That's how being away from home is, especially when you've always been at home your whole life."
"I know, right."
"Look, get the luggage from him, don't just stand and watch," Mrs. Sinclair gestured to one of the helpers.
