"Are you okay?" Jaden asked as he stood up from his bed and approached Kael.
"Yes, I am. I just need to get back home and do something," Kael muttered as he continued packing his clothes.
"Okay… and does this 'something' have a name?"
Kael paused what he was doing and glanced at Jaden before letting out a sigh. "I wish I could tell you, but you're such a blabbermouth, so no."
"What? Are you being serious right now? And I thought we were friends…" Jaden replied with a mock sob.
"I'm not buying that fake manipulation tactic," Kael said flatly. "What I'm going to do is very personal, so I can't tell you."
"Does it have anything to do with the Omega you slept with before the one who just left?" Jaden asked with a teasing chuckle.
Kael shot him a bored look before turning back to the clothes he was folding and stuffing into his bag.
"Sorry, I was just joking. It's just that it's, you know, surprising that you're this… I don't know how to put it," Jaden added, chuckling awkwardly.
