Kael smiled as he began to process the message 'It came just at the right time. I've been thinking of when it was going to be, as I didn't know, and that's why I had to be with Veyron most of the time as I can't even do it alone.'
He looked at Veyron before typing back to her: [Thank you, Mum. I had totally forgotten about this. So, I'm coming home today and I'll be there till the end of my heat. Expect me home tonight.]
After that, he looked over properly at Veyron and saw him watching him too. He sighed and said, "Guess it's time for you to become useful."
"When have I ever been useless?" Veyron asked with a chuckle, raising a brow in mock offense.
"Plenty of times. To me, you've not been useful, I mean, you even made things hard for me," Kael said as he leaned back in his chair, exasperation lacing his tone.
"Fair enough," Veyron nodded. Then, with a small grin as he moved closer and snuggled into Kael's scent, he added, "So, how can I be useful to this prince?"
