When Sloan pulled me out of the building that used haunt me whenever I was being led over there by Damien, my heart was still pounding hard in my chest and I was feeling worried that all of this was gonna blow up in our faces before we even realize it, and so I clung tighter to Sloan's hand as he led me on and on, till some slaves began to notice us, but Sloan was completely unfazed as he kept leading me forward.
"This is the point where you'll move into my room with me, right?" Sloan asked as he stared down at me, and I nodded without hesitation. I wasn't hesitating or thinking twice anymore cause now I wasn't certain of where I stood with Jake. My last encounter with him still has me shuddering with fear and confusion. I was so certain of what I had witnessed that night, and it was clear that he had other abilities unlike how he claimed to have no ability aside from the spell to compel people.
