I was nervous as hell on the way back to the palace, cause I just had a feeling something was gonna go wrong. It was a niggling feeling that had settled in my stomach since the moment that snake spy had said to tell the king that u was the one she wanted, for whatever weird reasons.
It was awkward in the ride back, cause I was made to seat beside Damien, and he made me so nervous, compared to the fact that I was now so afraid that they'd kill md after being done with me. I had hoped they'd let me live if I keep acting like I'm actively putting efforts into all their orders, when I'm just acting like my normal self around Sloan. Damien had also mentioned wanting to have sex with me, so I had a feeling he might wanna get that in exchange for saving me today, which was something that was already making me so uncomfortable.
As soon as we arrived at the palace and were dismissed, I quickly fled to my room, but bells fell into my side, asking me if I enjoyed today.
