Lilac
Something briefly crossed over Jake's face, which I couldn't recognize, but it was gone before I could recognize it.
He stepped forward at that moment and tugged me into a hug. I stiffened for a moment before wrapping my arms around his waist while his chin rested on my head.
After a few seconds, he broke the hug and stepped back, then he nodded.
"You just be careful, okay?"
I nodded and flashed him a smile. "I will be, I promise."

When I accompanied the rest of my new group members out of the slave quarters to the location where we'll all get transported from, I made small talks with belle.
"Are you excited?" She asked and I shook my head, which made her frown at me like I was not making any sense.
"Why?"
"Well, for one I wish to rest instead of being worked in my injured state," I pointed out and her eyed widened as she took in my appearance like she was just noticing the bandages.
"Oh, that must suck." She muttered and I couldn't agree more.
