Chapter 104 - Chapter 104: There's No Such Thing as the Strongest in the World, Only Those Who Need to Lean on Walls to Walk.

Pouting, Griseo took her glass of juice and ran over to Mobius.

However, when she asked to try some wine, Mobius also refused.

"Hmph, I'm already grown up. You're all meanies."

After being refused by Mobius and having her head patted, Griseo sat in a corner, sulking as she drank her juice.

Then, a certain shadowy figure appeared.

"Sister Pardo, can you give me some wine to try?"

"Whoa! Griseo, don't ask me for that. I don't want to end up on Sister Mobius's operating table again."

Hearing Griseo ask her for wine, Pardo nearly jumped out of her skin.

If she dared to give her any, she might wake up the next day missing a kidney.

"Ugh, none of you treat me like an adult. Hmph."

Griseo sat there, sulking alone.

"Hey, you're having a party and didn't invite me?"

A voice echoed through the meeting room.

Everyone turned to see Elysia, her face filled with rage.

If there was a way to describe her, it would be that her resentment was enough to forge a Ten Thousand Soul Banner.

Elysia was truly furious.

On her way back, she had been feeling down about Prometheus and the others.

But then she heard someone say that Vill-V seemed unusually happy today.

Elysia thought about it and immediately realized the only possible reason.

So, she stormed off to find the others, only to discover they were all in the meeting room.

She had expected some serious discussion, but instead, they were having a party.

This infuriated her!

"Uh, did no one remind Elysia?"

Chang Yuan looked at the guilty faces of the others.

Those who were asked turned away, not daring to answer.

Meanwhile, Elysia had already walked up to Chang Yuan.

"Darling, can you tell me why this is?"

"Uh, I, ah, right, it's Vill-V's fault. She was so happy that she dragged us all here to celebrate. I thought she would notify everyone."

"Huh?"

When Chang Yuan pointed the finger at her, "Friend" Vill-V looked confused.

Hadn't Chang Yuan said there was no one left out?

"Vill-V, I think you owe me an explanation."

Hearing this, Elysia walked up to "Friend" Vill-V.

Then, she reached out and pinched her cheeks.

"It's not me, I didn't do it. Chang Yuan said no one was left out. I even asked him if he had notified everyone, but he said no."

Faced with Chang Yuan, who was desperately kowtowing behind Elysia, begging for help, "Friend" Vill-V resolutely chose to betray him.

And Chang Yuan, who had been betrayed by "Friend" Vill-V, froze.

Looking up, he saw Elysia's murderous gaze.

Gulp!

"Elysia, I thought they had invited you. Do you believe me?"

"Haha, darling, let's skip this party for now. Oh, and Kevin, you all better not come back tonight. I need to have a little chat with him."

With a sweet smile, Elysia grabbed Chang Yuan by the collar and dragged him away.

"...What are you all standing around for? Keep the music playing and keep dancing."

After confirming that Elysia had left, "Friend" Vill-V immediately urged everyone to continue the party.

Someone's departure wasn't worth mourning over.

Meanwhile, someone else was in for a rough time.

"Haha, Yuan, you forgot to invite me. Has our relationship cooled?"

Pulling on Chang Yuan's ear, Elysia exercised her rights as a girlfriend.

Although it didn't hurt, Chang Yuan played along, grimacing in pain.

"No, no, even if I didn't like myself, I could never not like you, Elysia. I really thought everyone had invited you, so I—"

"Alright, who wouldn't think that, given how popular I am?"

Finally, Elysia let go of Chang Yuan's ear.

"Elysia, my dear Elysia, you have to believe me. How could I not like you?"

Holding Elysia's hand, Chang Yuan gently stroked the back of her hand.

"Alright, I know. I just wanted to scare you a bit. Haha, Yuan, you look so cute when you're scared~?"

Elysia smiled like a blooming flower, no longer blaming Chang Yuan.

After all, the outcome was good—Prometheus and the others were still alive.

"But..."

At this point, Elysia stopped walking.

"There's still a punishment, though. Since Kevin and the others aren't coming back tonight, let's go all out~?"

At this moment, Chang Yuan's kidneys sent out an unprecedented warning.

But even knowing the danger, Chang Yuan placed a hand on his waist.

What a joke. Even if he knew it was a dragon's den or a tiger's lair, he would still go. After all, a man must be brave at least once.

Kidneys: Brother, I'm so lucky to have you in this lifetime.

Little Brother: Now you're the real boss.

Waist: But I'm going to break!

Returning to the dorm, locking the doors and windows, and drawing the curtains.

"Yuan~, I want a Chang Ya."

"...Alright, let's work hard."

No longer the shy kisses of the past, nor the restraint of before.

Their consciousnesses merged, and they shared every sensation.

The next day...

"Uh, Vice Captain Chang Yuan, maybe you should take the day off."

Seeing Chang Yuan, who was holding his waist but still forcing himself to come to the training room, the other team members tried to persuade him.

But how could Chang Yuan admit he was weak?

He immediately straightened his back.

Crack—!

With a few crisp sounds, Chang Yuan loosened up his joints.

"What a joke. As a MANTIS, do I need to take a day off? Let's continue. Hmph, there's no such thing as the strongest in the world, only those who can't get out of bed."

Although the battle had been tough, he had emerged victorious thanks to his silver tongue.

"Alright, if you can't hold on, Vice Captain, just let us know. We'll carry you to Dr. Vill-V's workshop."

Seeing that Chang Yuan didn't need their help, the other team members went back to their tasks.

Once they were gone, Chang Yuan hunched over again.

Damn, last night's workout had been at least a million reps. It hurt like hell.

Chang Yuan swore that the pain was second only to the injuries he had suffered fighting Herrschers.

But it was a happy kind of pain. He would have to pay more attention to his waist workouts in the future, or he might not be able to claim victory next time.
