So-Hee and I talk a lot before we sleep. While Neo was sleeping in Korea, people in the U.S. began gathering at Gray's Vault, eager to see what's new and how extravagant the jewelry is. Even some jewelry companies sent representatives to visit.
Jack walked in front of the crowd and said, "I'm only allowing a maximum number of entries. I hope you understand that we can't accommodate everyone if you all come in at once. The first 50, please enter."
Once Jack made the announcement, the store staff helped him count how many would enter. After 50 people were inside, they stopped others from coming in.
"Once someone leaves, another can come in. If two people leave, two more can come in," Jack instructed the staff before moving inside. Many attendees only wanted to window shop and take videos to upload later, but after seeing how gorgeous the jewelry was—and realizing it wasn't that expensive—they bought one or two items before leaving. Once an item was purchased, the staff would replace it with a new one.
This created even more desire for those outside to go in, as the ones who exited bragged about the luxury of the store and how affordable the items were, but they also said that some items are super expensive. Photos and videos flooded the internet, with streamer friends like Kai and members of AMP promoting the store, saying that all the money they donated to their viewers was for charity, and by supporting Grays Vault, more people would receive assistance.
However, some individuals attempted to take advantage of the situation by stealing. Unfortunately for them, the T's were vigilant, looking for potential threats in the store. If anyone was caught, the staff would call the police and press charges. Most stores might let it go to save money, but Grays Vault had hired a lawyer specifically for this matter.
Poki and Rae initially wanted to livestream from the store but didn't expect it to attract so much attention. Jack informed them that they should consider doing it another time when the crowd was smaller.
As time passed, even Hollywood stars began to express their intention to visit, but they were waiting for the crowd to lessen.
Meanwhile, Neo was awakened by a sudden movement from So-Hee. He opened his eyes and saw her getting ready to stand up.
"Sorry, I woke you up. It's time for me to work; it's already 9 in the morning," she said, looking at him. I spread my arms for a hug, and she leaned into me.
"I'll visit JYP today to drop off the jewelry. I might not be able to visit you tonight," she said, and he kissed her on the ear.
"Hmm, that's fine. Enjoy your night then," she replied, turning her head to give him a long kiss before standing up. She began undressing in front of him, taking off her shirt and shorts, leaving only her undergarments.
"Are you tempting me, So-Hee?" I smiled, watching her.
"Who knows? Maybe not, or maybe yes?" she teased, turning her head to smile at me.
"What a wicked woman you are, my So-Hee. Alright, I'll leave now. If I stay, I might not be able to control myself." I teleported in front of her and gave her a quick kiss before teleporting again to my hotel.
'Luckily, I moved quickly before things became too heated. Let me check on George and the others.' He left his room and arrived at theirs, knocking on the door and waiting for it to open.
"Oh, it's you, Neo," Remi said as he opened the door.
"Sup, Neo?" Tristan greeted.
"Morning, Neo!" Brent chimed in.
"Are you guys ready? It's already 9 AM," I said.
"We're already done packing. We bought another luggage because we got an extra set of clothes last night," George replied.
"Alright, let's go meet the girls. We shouldn't keep Hyung waiting," I told them as we left the room and knocked on the door of the next room.
"Amelia, are you guys done?" George called out.
"We're ready. Let's go!" Bea opened the door and emerged with her luggage, followed by the other girls.
"What are you doing here, Neo? Are you sending us off?" Amelia asked.
"Of course! Let's go," I responded.
When we arrived in the lobby, Hyung and Hoon were already waiting for us.
"Morning, boss," Hyung said.
"Good morning, boss!" Hoon echoed.
"Morning, Hyung, Hoon. Will all this luggage fit in the car?" I asked, gesturing to the 16 large suitcases and some carry-ons.
"It won't fit, boss," Hyung said.
"Let's use the hotel's car service then. They should have one," Hoon suggested as he walked over to the receptionist. After a brief discussion, he returned to inform us that they agreed to help.
"All set. Take care, George, Amelia. Everyone, remember what I told you before, okay?"
"Don't worry, Neo. We know what to do. Trust us," Brent assured me.
"Okay, good. Off you go. Hyung and Hoon, after you drop them off, come back. I need your help."
"Okay, boss," Hyung replied.
"Sure," Hoon added.
"Bye, Neo!"
"Enjoy yourself, Neo. Bye!"
I waved goodbye to my siblings and friends before heading back to my room. While I waited for Hyung, I scrolled through my phone to check on what was happening with my store.
It was currently trending on social media, and not only were customers buying jewelry, but jewelry companies were also purchasing many precious stones.
"I should assign someone to handle online transactions. That would be a great idea," I thought, noticing that most of our buyers were from the middle class.
'So, people in higher social classes don't want to visit because of the long lines. Hmm, what should I do?'
'I will create a real gold VIP card for customers to request. This card will prioritize high-society individuals.'
I spent hours scrolling the internet and planning my next steps. I visited Pandora and arranged to make 1,000 copies of the gold cards. Once I completed the order, I called Jack.
"Neo, why are you calling? I'm a busy person, you know. So many customers!"
"Why are you complaining, man? It's already 6 PM there, right? Do you still have customers?"
"Yeah, there are still many people in line. I don't know where they all came from. So why are you calling?"
"Listen, the majority of customers right now are middle class or slightly wealthy, right? I created 1,000 real gold VIP cards for distribution. Post on our social media that this is a VIP card available only to super-rich individuals. Let them reach out to you, and after confirming their identities, deliver the card. Also, having this card gives them a 10% discount and prioritizes them in the store."
"Hmm? People in the U.S. usually like to identify as among the super-rich. This is a smart move. High-class individuals want to separate themselves from lower and middle classes, and this card will be the perfect tool for that," Jack said excitedly.
"That's right. Wait for George; he will deliver it to you. That's all, Jack."
"Alright, bye," Jack replied, and I hung up. I contacted George through the crest and asked him to pick up the cards from Pandora and deliver them to Jack. George agreed without any complaints.
I waited for Hyung and Hoon to arrive. They called me not long after. I asked them to come up to my room and bring staff to help move things.
I dialed Sali's number to let her know I'd be going to her room to get the jewelry. Shortly after, Hyung and Hoon arrived with four staff. I instructed them to follow me to Sali's room.
When we arrived, Sali and the stewardess were inside the room talking. Sali was already at the door waiting for us when we arrived.
