A day after the tragedy of the Spiral's Artificial Storm. A 15-year-old teenager named Enatur Vermillion, long red hair with half ponytail, red eyes, wearing glasses, pretty face, 165cm tall, wearing a black turtleneck shirt, black long trousers and black shoes.
A guide took Enatur to the palace of King Rudolfo von Arcadya. Enatur was quite surprised by the civilization, which resembled the fantasy world he was used to read about in light novels. The sense about this world made him want to explore every corner of it. They arrived at the gate of the king's palace.
In the palace, the King, nobles, and military officials had gathered in the meeting room.
"The storm that happened last night was very strange, in just a short time the sky rumbled and rain with thunderstorms immediately rained down on our city," said the military general named Hans Miller.
"It is estimated that thousands of people died. Could this be the work of an imperial magician?" asked an Earl named Virgil san Hectorya.
"That's extremely impossible. The capital of the Kingdom of Arcadya is heavily guarded, and great wizards are gathered here. If this were Imperial magic, our experienced wizards would have recognized the aura of the magic they cast" said an Archduke named Milner san Einburg.
"I agree with Archduke Einburg. I have asked the mage faction about this, but none of them have noticed. It is likely that this is a natural phenomenon" said a king's advisor named Victor san Shwarzer.
"The question is, is it possible for this to happen in an instant? If this is a purely natural phenomenon, it should be significant, right?" asked General Hans.
"Are any of our most powerful wizards able to manipulate nature, Victor?" asked Rudolfo.
"Hahaha, Your Majesty is joking, right? There is no such magic! Even if there were, it could only be done by people with powers beyond magic," replied Victor.
"Can only be done by people with powers beyond magic?!" asked Hans in a surprised tone.
"Can you explain, Mr Victor?" asked Earl Virgil.
"Well, gentlemen, magic is a power that can be owned by humans, and it has its limits. It is said that, according to the history books I read from the ancestors passed down from generation to generation, the Creator of this world endowed us humans to learn magic in order to survive from the former heavenly angel who once wiped out more than one hundred and fifty billion species from more than fifty earths inhabited by several species. That happened ten million years ago, and that angel had a type of power far above magic, the highest peak of various levels of power, namely Authority. While the magic that humans have is in the lowest level among various types of power. Anyone who has the power of Authority, they are called The Divine" replied Victor.
"So what you're saying is that last night's storm was the work of an angel from an ancient history book?" asked Archduke Milner.
"I'm not sure, Archduke Milner. It's just my think"
"Wait a minute, Victor! I did read that history book, but there is no book that records that for ten million years there were various disasters made by that angel until now. And if it was true that last night's incident was Divine's work, why did it have to wait for ten million years? Why didn't the angel prevent The Creator of the world from creating life?" asked King Rudolfo.
"I'm sorry Your Majesty, I've also been looking for the reason, but I still haven't found the answer" replied Victor.
There was silence and worry, which was obvious from their expressions. "Your Majesty? Your Majesty is inside?" asked a panicked guard.
"Open the door" King Rudolfo ordered. The guard opened the door, and saluted the king.
"Do you have anything to say?" asked the King.
"Refugees are pouring in from the neighbouring towns here because of what happened last night" said the guard.
"What?! Even the neighbouring towns?" asked a surprised Hans.
"We also received messages from couriers of the Harpy race and other races" said the guard.
"What is the content of the message?" asked Earl Virgil.
"From what Major Steve deduced, if last night's events happened across the continent simultaneously", "And MILLIONS OF PEOPLE DIED!" shouted the guard in a panicked tone.
Everyone in the meeting room was shocked to hear that. "Yes, Your Majesty, perhaps we should prepare for the worst of the worst!" said Victor with a resigned expression.
The King collapsed upon hearing this. "Victor, calculate how much money we need to supply food and restore the kingdom?" asked King Rudolfo.
"As you wish, Your Majesty!" said Victor.
In front of the palace gate, Enatur paid the guide. The two guards intercepted Enatur. "Young lady, what brings you here?" one guard asked.
"I'm here because I want to negotiate with the King" said Enatur with a friendly face.
"I'm sorry young lady, but the King is currently busy because this city has just experienced a strange natural disaster", "Please come again another time"
"I didn't just come here to negotiate, but I brought enough money to buy a land in the southwest of this region", "It's an uninhabited lowland, and even the soil is a bit hard for farming"
The fellow guard whispered something to his colleague. Enatur thought that they might be interested in what she said and reported it to the King who was in his office. One of the guards went to the King, and knelt down to pay his respects.
"What is it?" asked the King with a worried face.
"Your Majesty, there is a young lady who wishes to see you"
"Eh? His Majesty is currently planning a strategy, do not disturb!" said Victor in a stern tone.
"Hold on Victor, what is the purpose of this lady meeting with me?" asked Rudolfo.
"This young lady wants to buy land in the southwest, it is probably Archon Cliff". Rudolfo and Victor exchanged glances...
"Alright, send the young lady in, the maids prepare the lounge, and provide tea and some snacks" said Rudolfo.
"Yes, Lord Victor!" said a maid. In front of the palace gate, Enatur waited for news from one of the guards.
From a distance, a young woman ran up to Enatur. "Hei Enatur!"
"Ah, Reina, what's wrong?"
Reina was a woman with a 23-year-old, long wavy purple hair, purple eyes, F cup, 171cm tall, wearing a white lab coat, pink crop tanktop, brown miniskirt, and black boots.
"You! Why did you leave without saying anything? Good thing I ran into the guide we hired yesterday"
"Hahaha... I'm sorry, I saw that you was very busy, so I just wanted to ease your work" said Enatur with a spoilt smile.
"Geez, I told you before, I'll manage the negotiation" Reina petted Enatur's head.
"Besides, I'm your secretary, so leave the negotiation to me"
"Al, alright!"
The guard who spoke with the King approached Enatur and Reina...
"Young lady, the King has agreed to meet with you, please follow me!" said the guard who invited them to enter the gate.
"Wha? Young lady? Pffftttt" Reina smirking to Enatur.
"yeah, whatever!"
They entered the lounge and were greeted by King Rudolfo.
"Have a seat" said Rudolfo.
"Introductions, my name is Enatur Vermillion"
"My name is Reina Anishton, Enatur's secretary"
"My name is Rudolfo von Arcadya, The King of this kingdom. I heard you want to buy our kingdom's territory" said Rudolfo.
"That's right, we both want to buy the southwestern territory" said Reina.
"From your appearance, I assume that you two are not from this kingdom. If I may know, where are you two from?" asked Rudolfo.
"The two of us are not only from this kingdom, but we are travellers from another world" said Enatur.
Victor and King Rudolfo were shocked to hear his statement.
"Travellers from another world, you say?" said Victor with a surprised expression.
"In terms of civilization, it is very different from the world where we were born, our world is more high-end and modern than the one here" said Enatur.
"I didn't think that there were other human worlds besides here" said Rudolfo.
"I think we need to get back to the topic of this conversation" said Reina with a serious face.
"Ahh, that's right! Let's start the negotiations!" said Rudolfo.
"The area you're referring to is Archon Cliff, an area that has no inhabitants, and the soil structure is also hard. The tools we use can't reach even a centimetre" said Victor.
"We will take care of that problem, because we have digging machines with high-end technology. The price we offer for the territory is one hundred and fifty pieces of gold bars' said Reina.
"O, one hundred and fifty pieces of gold bar?" said Victor who was surprised to hear it.
"Hm, that seems like a very low price, how about two hundred pieces?" asked Rudolfo.
"Your Majesty, the price we are offering is quite reasonable for such a barren region, the threat of several groups of monster that we have to eliminate, and it will also definitely attract the attention of bandit groups. Plus, it is a region that is a little far from settlements" said Reina.
"What you say is true, but the Archon Cliff area is very large even though there are no inhabitants except for some types of monsters and animals that are a source of income for adventurers" said Rudolfo.
"It doesn't matter if the adventurers hunt in the area we are going to buy, it's also an advantage for us to be able to ease our work, as long as they don't disturb our work. Besides, you need extra funds to rebuild this city from natural disasters, right?" said Reina.
The King was snapped by Reina's words. "Alright, I agree to the price you offered. Victor send someone to take care of the territory ownership documents" said Rudolfo
"Yes, Your Honour!", Victor left the room.
"Before waiting for the paperwork to be completed, how about a little chat?" asked Rudolfo.
"Very well, with pleasure!" said Reina.
"During last night, did you see the scary storm?" asked Rudolfo.
"Ah that's so weird. We both took shelter with the portable house and I put up a barrier" said Enatur.
"Oh, I see. If there's anything you need, don't hesitate to come here"
"It's my pleasure"
After the ownership documents were finalised, Enatur and Reina left the palace. King Rudolfo watched them from inside the window.
"Thankfully, there is a buyer for the territory, this way the food supply and the need to repair the kingdom can be fulfilled" said Rudolfo.
"Your Majesty, I'm actually a little curious about the high-end technology they said, do we need to send spies to keep an eye on them? Who knows, we might be able to get information about the technology" said Victor.
"Victor, we are bound by the law that forbids strangers to set foot on private property. They are indirectly helping our kingdom, so don't disturb their privacy. That's my order!" said Rudolfo.
"As you wish, Your Majesty!" said Victor.

Two months later, Spiral had settled into the city. The city recovered, although the residents were still in a state of sorrow. A memorial was built in the centre of the town square to remember the people who died.
Spiral was relaxing in the courtyard gazebo with a cup of hot tea poured by her undead servant, and Spiral was wearing a sexy white dress. The servants and caretakers of the mansion are undead who looks like human. As Spiral was enjoying the hot tea, a female Grim Reaper appeared through the black mist. The female reaper was named Shuu with her pale skin, black eye lenses and amber pupils, wearing a black robe with a head hood fitted with skull armour, and a skull face mask covering her mouth and nose. Shuu knelt before Spiral.
"Greetings Miss Spiral!"
"Ahh, Shuu... what about the investigation?"
"I found the location of the centre of the negative energy you're referring to"
"I see, tell me where it is?"
"It's in the southwestern territory, Archon Cliff. I saw a young red-haired young lady who looked a lot like the Venerable El Yunia Vermillion", "But she was a little thinner, and looked a lot more younger"
"I see, then take me to the location!"
"As you wish, Miss Spiral!"
