"Searching Outsider"
After the battle that took place a few months ago, the militia has started to modernise itself but it's easier said than done. After all, they have been isolated for more than 15 years because the GOC set their eyes on them as a threat, and it was the last time for them to see the sun or freedom for the last time.
But now that the GOC has suffered countless defeats in their way, it was an opportunity to open itself again, after establishing some states and handling some problems, but modernising was somewhat difficult as we don't have contact with outsiders after their isolation.
Half of the militia was allowed to return to their home after defending against the GOC attack for more than 4 months in the mud trenches, Some of them immediately returned to their family, some of them returned to their favourite places like the tavern and the night club. I don't know why the fuck they go there? Are they going to waste their money?
While the T.O.P general has celebrated their win and enjoys their wines and luxury food I didn't take it there as I prefer simpler things considering that I had a hard life in the past as a child since 2001, I feel so old yet young ugh.
My overworked stress habit to survive only makes my condition worse, not going to lie they made my condition excruciating, I have to wait for a new division sent by the HQ especially with the route connecting the Northen America and Southern America has been captured by our forces, the GOC cannot blockade supply lines so using submarines is not necessary anymore considering that the land route is under our control and the plan to make a railway connecting both sector will help us in the future war for a better life. While there's a plan to send some agents to make resistance contact in other sectors, it's not entirely possible regardless as the GOC naval fleet has not been destroyed completely. The GOC has put their navy fleet 254 in the Caribbean naval base, all the naval fleets have been placed in one place due to the Chaos Insurgency threat as air supremacy is no more after their shameless defeat in conflict 2008.
As I keep thinking about how to reform our condition and in better, Kiriyama suddenly approaches me and sits next to me. She fed me some snacks and asked what I was thinking "So, what are you thinking about Lee Han min?"
I chuckle a bit and look at her "Ah, no, I was just thinking about how to reform the militia, we need to make our army modern or at least not too far behind between us and the GOC."
"Do you know any PMC with which you have contact?"
Kiriyama thinks first before looking at me, "Well, I do but I don't know if they're still active or not, because the last time I heard them was 2002, after the Syria-Ancara war, it's the last time I ever heard them."
I look at her and think "Can you try to contact them?"
Kiriyama looks at me and chuckles "I can, but not here, I need to get the BTS tower in the north fixed so I can call them, I don't have a satellite phone you know?"
I look at her with some worry "The north? It's still guarded heavily by the GOC international guard, you know? We have to raid it first before getting contact."
Kiriyama stands up "Now you know, that's our problem, if they still control the BTS tower, we cannot reach the outsider."
"You're right, ugh I thought it's going to be easy, you got any plan Kiriyama?"
Kiriyama looks at me before speaking "Well, we have to eradicate the leaders of T.O.P so we can move freely, if they're still in power, then we cannot do anything."
I look at her and nod "Well, yeah, we have that problem, which makes me hate those bastards. We sacrifice our own lives on the frontline and those bastards just enjoy some life behind the line."
"Well, Kiriyama? should we do something that our leaders don't like that happen, the consequences are too much you know? It's probably going to make some of the T.O.P soldiers hate us and don't want to collaborate with us."
Kiriyama looks at me before leaving me alone, "You just do what you want, I will handle the problem with our leader in sector Atharva."
As Kiriyama leave, I sigh heavily and shake my head, if I choose to eradicate the T.O.P leaders and general, there's going to be some civil war in the way and the chance for winning against the GOC will be much smaller and if that happen, the GOC can eradicate all of us in the way. Ugh, I just hope something is happening without altering the war and making us lose.
As the night gets darker, I turn off my lamp before heading to my barrack, I hope something is happening without having to coup and make a useless bloody civil war.
The T.O.P have been in a strong position but with a weak mandate and jurisdiction, considering they don't improve economic reforms or any desire to be more modern, that's a very bad problem if not fixed and will make a civil war too.
The following month, it's has been the same, the T.O.P General spend their time with dancing and drunk wine, doesn't care about their soldier except about the corruption, I wish their death will be brutal, many of my soldier didn't like them either because their action that pisses us all off. They are not leaders, they are tyrants. A leader who doesn't care for its people, like a bullshit.
I hope a miracle will happen to us but a disaster will happen to them.
Month after month just pass by, without anything happening until one night one of my soldiers storms into my work room "Sir! The T.O.P. convoy to sector Atharva has been sunk by the GOC Submarine in the Caribbean Sea!"
As I processed that information slowly because I was eating my noodles in my room before realising what my soldier said, "Get some soldiers to find if there's any survivor!"
As he leaves me alone, I stare at the sky and say in my mind "THANK YOU, GOD, I LOVE YOU BECAUSE YOU JUST DID WHAT I WANTED!"
Before I immediately stand up and prepare for the plan to capture the BTS tower at the north, because if I waste it, there's no chance for something like this to happen again after all, it's a one-time thing that I needed!
I mess up some of my noodle's cup, as it spilla over my table because how excited I am with this news for the death of T.O.P leaders that can make me and Kiriyama in charge for a while to change all the command chain with our soldier and officer only, ahh what a great heaven!
For this week, it's been a great weekend for me as it put me in a powerful position because my reputation among the militia was good after leading the defence line in the west front and making the GOC accept how much better we are.
But that's the past, If the GOC on sector Bacardi realises that the chain of command has fallen, they will strike us first before we strike them. That's why, I have to initiate a plan first and attack them first before they attack us, considering that the GOC is at the breaking point and has very low morale. If they get attacked again and lost, they will eventually surrender considering the strategic point but the problem here is that the BTS tower that we needed was inside Bastion with codename "Fields of Hopelessness" as that bastion was failed to be raided by the cartel in recent month, I don't know how many times they try but it's already hundreds of times the cartel tries to take control over the bastion and losing thousand of men everyday will make the cartel also at the breaking point.
And if the troops were at low morale the chance of winning would be much worse or 0%, considering that the cartel was not a reliable ally in this condition due to their past crime, we can only decide either to eliminate the GOC in the north first or the cartel first.
Considering that we do not have too many field artillery to force the GOC to stay in their trenches and advance deeper into their trenches and force them to surrender, well I hope no troubles are happening that make us halt this.
