Chapter 46 - Mental Check

Three days after the MCM Incident, Nezu sat in his office, sipping on his premium tea. You might wonder what flavor this tea was. Interestingly, Nezu was unfamiliar with the plant from which it was made. The tea, aptly named "Dragon's Rose," had a warm cinnamon taste complemented by a hint of peach.

"Oh, I should probably get some more interesting subjects. Is anyone really interested in hearing about Nezu's tea?"

"I'm very interested in the tea!" Nezu quipped, rolling his eyes. "Stop breaking the fourth wall!"

Back to the matter at hand: after Izuku returned to UA High School, Nezu promptly had him undergo a series of tests. They checked him for mental deterioration and arranged therapy sessions. During these sessions, the system discovered two new altars within Izuku, each representing extreme personalities.

The first to make an appearance was a female alter known as Minamoto no Raikō. Her initial manifestation occurred while Izuku was taking care of David. The Mimic 2 was currently residing in one of the dorm rooms at UA High School, and Izuku had been working on an exoskeleton designed to resemble a small child. This exoskeleton was created to look somewhat like David but was largely redesigned in hopes that this personality could develop into its own unique identity.

Izuku was helping David acclimate to his new surroundings. One of the activities he engaged in was playing educational games with David, aiming to prepare the AI for learning. Since David was mentally akin to a child, it was crucial for him to receive an education, a suggestion Fiona had strongly advocated.

The day after the incident, Izuku was taking care of David. They were currently watching educational cartoons when Izuku suddenly froze. He blinked rapidly, and then, out of nowhere, a new being manifested into existence. She gracefully rose from her seated position and focused all her attention on David.

"How is my sweet boy doing? Don't worry about a thing; Mama's gonna take care of you." She then proceeded to smother the robotic child with affection for the next hour until Izuku and the other alters managed to wrest control back from her.

After reestablishing control, the alters decided to search for this new individual. Delving into their mental plane and conducting a thorough search, they finally located the new personality within the Gorgon Sisters' temple. There she was, practically smothering the three sisters and Asterios.

Some of the older alters managed to question her and learned that her name was Minamoto no Raikō. They reported everything to Nezu, who still hadn't had the chance to interview this new alter due to her strange reclusiveness. From what the other alters gathered, she was violently caring, completely unaware of her own strength or the fact that her affection could actually suffocate others.

The next alter that appeared was much easier for Nezu to contact. In fact, he had met this new alter just that morning. How did he manifest? Let's just say that Midnight had proven to be a bit too overstimulating for the system that day.

Leonidas had been training all morning, and normally, one of the teachers might come out to join him if they had time. Today, it just so happened that Midnight was the one to arrive. She reached the system's favorite training spot and began to stretch right in front of Leonidas, clearly teasing him. As a teenage boy, hormones were flowing through him at absurd levels.

When Midnight stood up, she expected to see the blushing face of Izuku, the deadpan expression of Emiya, or the unimpressed looks from any of the female alters. Instead, she was met with a brown-haired young man giving her an amused and impressed look.

"My dear, I can't believe you would put on such a show for me. I am incredibly flattered. Please continue." The golden eyes of this new altar twinkled with mirth and a hint of lust.

Ten minutes later, Midnight practically fled to the break room, her face beet red and filled with embarrassment. Fortunately for Nezu, Midnight had not forgotten to send the new altar up to meet him.

The new altar arrived at Nezu's office thirty minutes after Midnight had managed to regain her composure in the break room. It seemed he had flirted with every woman he encountered, causing them to quickly vacate his vicinity out of embarrassment—not due to cringeworthy comments or inappropriate behavior, but because of his undeniable charisma and charm.

As the new altar walked into Nezu's office, he sat down in front of Nezu with a nobleman's poise. Nezu gave him his full attention, genuinely impressed. It appeared this altar had out-flirted Midnight, who was known as the top flirt of all Pro heroes.

"Hello, I'm Principal Nezu. May I ask who you are?" Nezu said with a cheeky grin.

"I know who you are," the new altar replied, sporting a disinterested expression. "The real question is, do you know who I am?"

Nezu paused to think. Aside from this man's incredible ability to charm ladies, he hadn't dropped any other clues about his identity. "I'll be completely honest—I don't have enough information to hazard a guess."

The altar smiled. "So, you just want to get this over with quickly. I can respect that. My name is Benjamin Franklin." As he spoke, tiny fireworks seemed to go off behind him. "And my quirk is called… well, let's just call it 'Filter Reality.' It gives me the ability to set the mood or create illusionary special effects, but only the person I'm talking to can see them."

Nezu nodded in understanding. In American history, Benjamin Franklin was known as quite the womanizer. He had physical relationships with noblewomen across multiple countries and even wrote a paper instructing young men on how to secure a mistress—not a wife, but a mistress. He was reportedly quoted as saying that if he were intimate with a girl, she would never be able to be satisfied by anyone else.

Nezu realized this new altar was destined to cause a whirlwind of chaos. No one at the school would recover romantically from what was about to unfold. His presence was akin to dropping a black belt in jiu-jitsu into a competition filled with white belts—no teenage girl at the school would stand a chance against him.

After finishing the interview and answering a few more questions, Nezu sent Benjamin Franklin on his way. He then settled down, relaxing with a cup of tea when his phone rang.

"Yes, this is Principal Nezu speaking," he answered. He could hear the other person on the line sigh.

"Nezu, can you send someone to pick me up? I, uh, ran out of time."

Nezu's face hardened. "Really? All Might, can't you manage your time better? This will be the third time this week."

All Might awkwardly coughed, his embarrassment palpable. "Fine. I'll send Present Mic over to pick you up in about five minutes," Nezu replied with a fond yet disappointed sigh.

"Thanks. Can you tell 13 and Eraser Head that I won't be able to make it to the USJ?" Nezu sighed again but reluctantly agreed.

Authors note.

" OK Chapter over. We have just started the USJ arc and hopefully it won't be terrible. Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed. Have a nice day."
