"Mom, don't tell me you…!?"

Eriri stared at Sawamura Sayuri's flustered expression. As someone who'd drawn plenty of doujinshi, her mind raced straight to those scandalous scenes tucked away in her memory. 'Could it be… Mom and Yuto are actually…?'

'No, that's ridiculous!'

The very thought made Eriri's chest tighten with nerves. Without a word from anyone, she deftly lifted the bedding off the mattress. But instead of the crude scenes she'd pictured, she found nothing, just an empty bed.

'Was I imagining things?'

She checked the bathroom, the balcony, even the wardrobe; a prime hiding spot in her mind but there wasn't a trace of anyone.

"Eriri, care to explain why you're tearing through my room!?"

Sayuri didn't know how Yuto had slipped past her daughter's search, but she wasn't about to question it. Seizing the chance to reclaim her motherly authority, she fixed her delicate features into a rare stern look. Eriri flinched instinctively.

"I'm sorry, Mom," the girl mumbled, cheeks pink with embarrassment. "I got carried away."

"Honestly… what goes on in that head of yours all day?"

Sayuri softened. It was her daughter, after all. Dressed in her elegant kimono, she couldn't stay harsh for long.

"Go on now. It's almost dinner time."

"Okay."

Eriri's small figure shuffled out the door, and Sayuri let out a quiet breath. After a moment's pause, she whispered uncertainly to the empty air, "Yuto, are you still here?"

"Mrs Sayuri, your technique could use some work."

The boy's sudden appearance made her jump. Luckily, her recent brushes with the supernatural kept her from panicking too much. She gazed at his faint, translucent form with curiosity.

"What's this, Yuto? How can you vanish like that? Is it magecraft?"

"No, it's something I've always been able to do. With Presence Concealment, I can stand right beside you, and you'd never notice."

"The supernatural really is something else," Sayuri mused, still marveling despite her growing familiarity with it.

Her face, flushed just slightly, glowed under the dim light. Her misty eyes held a subtle allure, and the kimono hugged her slender legs, tracing their graceful curves. She looked captivating.

"Mrs Sayuri, we didn't finish earlier," Yuto said, a flicker of warmth stirring in him as he took in her charm.

"W-Wait, do we have to keep going?" Sayuri stammered, her flustered gaze meeting his. Slowly, his figure blended into her shadow.

......….

An hour later, Yuto hopped out of Mrs. Sawamura's bedroom window, with a satisfied grin on his face. 'A mature woman like her has a charm that lingers, like the rich scent of aged wine.'

Stepping out of the upscale villa district, he saw the streetlights flicker on as night settled in. Stretching lazily, he wandered into the cool summer breeze. Then his phone buzzed twice in his pocket.

[Natsume Tsuchimikado]: Yuto, how've you been? I'm not messaging because I miss you or anything. I am just checking if you forgot our date.

[Yuki Tsukumo]: Hey, Yuto, what's up? Want to grab a drink?

"Almost forgot about them," he muttered, scratching his head. He tapped out quick replies to both, then switched off his phone. He'd been swamped lately, letting plans with Natsume from Tokyo Ravens and Yuki from Jujutsu Kaisen slip his mind. But tonight, he had no intention of meeting either.

He wanted to dig into the immortality technique he'd picked up from Tengen.

......….

Days later, Yuto dispersed the cursed energy in his hand, frowning. He'd spent the time studying Tengen's method, but it wasn't panning out. The trick relied on the Star Plasma Vessel reincarnation, a technique unique to Tengen, tied to his existence as an undying curse user. Only beings with that rare makeup, a kind of special curse spirit, could merge with his soul for a new body after death.

Star Plasma Vessels came in all forms: human, animal, plant, even shapeless. Each had quirks that could shape a curse user's personality and skills. Tengen inherited their memories with every rebirth, but lost pieces of himself too. Picking the right vessel was key to staying sane. One misstep, and he could vanish or turn into a mindless beast.

It was a flawed path to immortality, full of risks. Yuto shook his head. "Not worth it."

If push came to shove, he could just use the 'Elixir of Immortality' from the King's Treasury. There was enough of that stuff for him and his girls to live plenty long.

"Maybe it's time to piece together the World Key and head to another world."

This mixed anime realm wasn't offering much growth anymore. With fewer curse spirits to hunt thanks to his reward system, exploring a new world made sense.

"Let's do it."

He opened his personal space, and three glowing key fragments settled into his palm.

[Combine the World Key to explore the multiverse?] The system prompt flashed in his mind.

"Yes, combine."

The gear-like fragments clicked together like a jigsaw puzzle, locking into place. A bright, milky light flared, and a spinning magic circle appeared beneath his feet.

[Ding! Dimensional key combining… simulating Spiritrons… building dimensional prototype… stabilizing anchor… proceed with Spiritron Transfer now?]

"No."

He had loose ends to tie up with his harem first. A blue message popped up: leaving would shift this world's time flow. Next time he returned, at least half a year would've passed.

"System, what if enemies attack my people while I'm gone?"

If his absence left them vulnerable, he'd rather stay and deal with threats like Hagoromo Kitsune from Nurarihyon no Mago first.

[No need to worry. If an emergency arises, like your companions facing mortal danger, you'll be teleported back instantly.]

"Good enough," Yuto nodded, relieved. His girls mattered most. With the system's safeguard, he could go without worry. Still, he'd leave precautions to keep the world stable.

......….

"What? Yuto, you're leaving for half a year?"

That night, every girl in his harem gathered in the villa, their faces clouded with reluctance.

"Why so sudden? Half a year's way too long!" Utaha Kasumigaoka crossed her arms, her long legs in thin black stockings twitching fast, a telltale sign of her irritation.

"I don't want you to go either," Mafuyu Kirisu added, stepping closer, her pretty face etched with concern. She'd fallen hard for him, body and soul.

The other girls crowded around too, their attachment clear.

"I'll be back in six months, I promise," Yuto assured them. "It'll fly by."

"Fine…" They relented, seeing his resolve.

But knowing he was leaving, they all slipped into cosplay he loved, determined to sap every ounce of his essence before he left. Marin Kitagawa led the charge, her legs in white lace stockings gleaming as she pushed him down playfully.

"You're not resting tonight."

......….

After arming each girl with A+ rank Noble Phantasms and upgrading the villa's magecraft workshop into Tokyo's safest stronghold, packed with nuclear-grade treasures and deadly spells, Yuto was ready. In their longing gazes, he headed to the basement alone.

Connecting to the system, he started the Spiritron Transfer.

Buzz!

The reverse summoning kicked in, counting down: 3, 2, 1…

[All processes complete. Initiating transfer!]

A surge of wild magic flooded the basement, roaring despite his concealment spells. The magic circle spun fast, and a blue-black vortex swallowed his vision. In the growing black hole, his figure vanished.

......….

Another World

"It's almost seven, isn't it?"

Golden sunset rays slipped through the open window, warming the quiet dojo. A girl wiped the floor diligently. First with a mop, then a cloth, she worked with care without slacking, even if the task wasn't her choice.

Smaller than most her age, she darted around with her rag. Outside, the hazy night deepened unnoticed.

"What's for dinner tonight?" she wondered, nearly done.

Then a strange noise echoed from the playground nearby.

"Hm? What's that? Someone's still at school this late?"

As a disciplinary committee member, she puffed out her modest chest and headed toward the sound, curiosity tugging her along.

"Better check it out. If someone needs help this late…"
