Boom, boom, boom!!!
In the ruins, fists and feet collided, the sharp sounds of combat ringing out nonstop.
Tsukumo Yuki, one of the four modern special-grade jujutsu sorcerers, had top-notch physical skills. But even she struggled against Kenjaku, a crafty curse user who'd lived for a thousand years.
Kenjaku's technique lets him swap bodies and use their original skills. The body he'd taken; Geto Suguru's was already strong and skilled. With his centuries of experience, Tsukumo couldn't get the upper hand. She was losing ground.
Bang!
A punch came fast like thunder. The blonde sorceress blocked with her arms, her hair whipping as the force sent her flying. She adjusted mid-air, her long legs stepping lightly to land smoothly.
Scrape.
Her boots scratched a long line in the dirt. Tsukumo shook her bleeding fist, her face blank.
"Not bad. Let's keep going."
Whoosh!
A loud sonic boom cut the air as her tall frame vanished, catching Kenjaku off guard.
"What!"
"Garuda Phoenix Wheel!"
A bone whip appeared in her hand, snapping with energy. With one swing, the air burst apart, and Kenjaku was thrown back, crashing hard into the ground.
Crack!
Even though he blocked with his arm, the whip broke his bones and ripped his flesh, like rain hitting leaves.
"Amazing! That's Lady Tsukumo for you. She hurt him so fast!"
Cheers rose from behind as Jujutsu High students watched in awe.
Miwa Kasumi's eyes sparkled as she stared at the blonde sorceress who'd broken Kenjaku's guard with one hit. As the only woman among the four special-grade sorcerers, Tsukumo was a hero to many female sorcerers.
"Is this… mass?"
Kenjaku raised his bloody arm, using his Reverse Cursed Technique to heal. He squinted, thinking hard.
"Yep. My technique, Star Rage, lets me add imaginary mass to myself."
Tsukumo crossed her arms, flashing a bright smile. She shared her technique's name, boosting its power.
'Tch. Her speed's the same, so the mass doesn't slow her. It's tricky.'
Kenjaku popped his broken arm back into place, barely flinching at the pain.
"But I've got a plan."
"Come out, Lord Abe no Seimei. We're running out of time."
"What?"
The air shook as the students gaped. A tall, muscular man with a bare torso stepped from the shadows.
"Your people were all beaten by that boy," Abe no Seimei said coldly. "Even the King of Curses you bragged about lost to him. Our deal's off."
As the top villain from Nurarihyon no Mago, Abe no Seimei had escaped Hell and needed the Killing Stone to keep his demon power. But Yuto's empire was collecting them, leaving him desperate. That's why he'd teamed up with Kenjaku.
Kenjaku had offered the Killing Stone to revive the King of Curses and kill Tengen and Yuto for his big plan.
"But, Lord Abe no Seimei, we're in this together now, right?"
He meant they were both trapped. If Abe no Seimei wanted to live, he had to help kill the others and escape.
Being used like this filled Abe no Seimei with fury. He had no choice but to fight.
'Are they teaming up?'
Tsukumo felt the pressure from both foes, her brows tightening. As she readied a strong technique, a gust of wind swept the battlefield.
When the dust cleared, a tall figure stood in the middle.
"Is that…?"
Tsukumo raised an eyebrow, curious about the newcomer.
But Kenjaku and Abe no Seimei's faces fell, their hearts racing.
"Yuto, long time no see. You're here."
Kenjaku, his stitched forehead creasing, smiled at him.
"Kenjaku, ready to die?"
Yuto's cold voice sliced through as he turned to them.
"You saw through it."
Kenjaku's smile slipped. He'd fooled everyone with Geto Suguru's face, even trapping Gojo Satoru in the Prison Realm. But Yuto saw his real self first.
"And you're….Abe no Seimei?"
Ignoring Kenjaku, Yuto eyed the muscular, golden-haired man with a strange dagger.
Abe no Seimei's face twisted with rage.
"Still wanna fight?"
Tsukumo's cheerful voice cut the tension as she stepped closer.
Yuto glanced at her graceful form.
"How about I join in, kid?"
"Sure."
Yuto nodded with a smile. He wouldn't pass up teaming with the blonde sorceress, who'd died tragically in the original story.
"Hmph, ignoring us?"
Abe no Seimei huffed, swinging his dagger. Countless blade shadows shot at them without warning.
The weapon, "Demon King's Mallet," was forged from the demon Yamamoto Gorouzaemon's heart. It absorbed slain demons' power, its blade fast and unseen.
"Hmph, Phoenix Wheel!"
Tsukumo shouted, her bone whip cracking. With a sharp sound, she smashed the blade shadows easily.
"Your fight's with me."
"Oh, so I get Yuto then."
Kenjaku smiled, arms wide, though his eyes stayed cold.
Roars like a beast herd filled the air as curses of all kinds poured from his hands, rushing Yuto like a flood.
"Immortal Slaying Scythe, Harpe!"
With a scythe in Yuto's hand, he charged forward.
With a loud boom, he slashed, cutting through the curse swarm in one swing. Blood and flesh splattered, painting the sky red.
"So fast!"
Kenjaku's heart jumped at Yuto's speed. He pressed his hands down, trying to slow him.
"Cursed Technique: Anti-Gravity System!"
A heavy force hit Yuto, pushing him down.
"Special-Grade Curse: Smallpox Deity!"
"Uzumaki!"
Facing Yuto's strength, Kenjaku threw out every trick to buy time to run.
Boom!
The gravity technique exploded, breaking the ground.
Yuto fell into a strange vision. A fat white curse swung long arms, coffins dropping to trap him.
Behind, Kenjaku's left hand unleashed small curses, twisting into a vortex.
The Smallpox Deity, born from smallpox fears, had a domain that locked onto one target. Its "Grave" technique trapped them in a coffin, buried them, and counted three seconds to death by sickness; unless they broke free.
"You're really scared of me, huh?"
Yuto punched the coffin open, stepping out coldly. He walked to the huge curse and, as Kenjaku stared in shock, he cut it in half with one swing.
Boom!
Then the Uzumaki hit, exploding wildly. The broken ground sank more, swallowed by cursed energy.
"How?"
From the smoke, a long, pale hand grabbed Kenjaku's throat, lifting him up.
"Gah… gah…"
Kenjaku's eyes popped, his face purpling as he gasped.
The monk-like man stared at unscathed Yuto, choking out, "How… did you…?"
The Smallpox Deity, Uzumaki, Anti-Gravity System; his best moves did nothing. Yuto walked out fine, like it was nothing.
"Blame your weakness."
Yuto was about to snap his neck when Kenjaku released another curse and used the push to trigger his technique.
"Domain Expansion: Womb Profusion!"
A dark curse burst from him, forming a black tree of cursed wombs. Twisted faces covered the tree, dripping black blood.
Boom!
As the domain spread, gravity hundreds of times stronger froze Yuto's hand for a moment.
Taking the opportunity, Kenjaku summoned more curses and ran.
"Gae Bolg!"
Yuto snorted, a Pegasus shadow appeared behind him. The red spear, powered up, shot through the curses like butter, chasing Kenjaku.
With a roar, it ripped through the black tree.
"Oh no!"
The spear closed in. Kenjaku screamed, ditching Geto's body to flee as a brain.
But the spear tracked him, piercing the corpse and, at the last second, stabbing the pink brain mid-air.
"My ideals, my cause—how can I die here?"
The spear's red energy shredded the brain into pulp with a twist.
As his last whisper faded, the thousand-year curse user, master of evil schemes, died.
Meanwhile, a huge boom sounded as a black hole swallowed a reluctant Abe no Seimei.
Soon, with Tsukumo's whistle, the great Abe no Seimei fell.
With both foes dead, the long Shibuya Incident ended.
.........
Ten minutes later, they left the silent ruins under a bright morning sun.
The fight had gone from night to dawn.
In the soft light, Tsukumo handed Yuto a strange dagger.
"Here, take this."
"It's the Demon King's Mallet, I think. Abe no Seimei looked so bitter when he died, it must've mattered to him."
"You don't want it?"
Yuto took it, swinging it lightly. He didn't need it, but it could help his team. A demon-absorbing blade was handy.
"Nah, I'm good."
Tsukumo put her hands behind her back, glancing at Yuto's sharp features. Quietly, she asked, "Hey, what kind of woman do you like?"
"Me? Blondes with great figures, like you."
Yuto smiled, meeting her eyes.
She blinked, then blushed hard.
