Chapter 7 - The wall coted in black paint

Hello, class! Please settle down. I'd like to introduce our newest student."

"His name is Clide, and he'll be attending our classes from now on," said the teacher of Class 1-D, the class Sanchez had assigned Clide to.

The atmosphere grew heavier as the class of about 30 Hollows stared forward, the teacher having successfully gathered their attention.

Many students were caught off guard and confused—there had been no prior notice that the school would be receiving a new student.

Whispers began to circulate.

Some students quietly assumed he was just another runaway Hollow—another weakling trying to survive.

Others, however, speculated more wildly…Was he a survivor from Committence Day—the infamous event in the Infimums that left entire sectors in ruin? The very mention of that day sent shivers through the bones of even the toughest Hollows.

No one spoke out loud, but every gaze was a mixture of curiosity, suspicion, and unease.

But in the midst of all the murmuring and scattered whispers, one student stood out—cocky, composed, and more intrigued than concerned.

His name was Fitts Harbinger.

He was known across Class 1-D as a powerhouse, and many whispered that he might even be the strongest in the entire grade. Fitts certainly believed it himself—and unlike most braggarts, he had the strength to back it up.

So when a new Hollow stepped into his class, Fitts didn't feel threatened.

No. He felt excited.

He welcomed the challenge.

But there was more to his curiosity. Fitts possessed a rare ability—eyes that allowed him to see the Void Aura of any Hollow, a visual representation of their strength. While invisible to others, these auras glowed around their targets like blazing fields of energy, only visible to Fitts through his Void Sight.

And one rule always proved true: The larger the aura, the deeper and more dangerous the Hollow's void range.

Even before Clide had fully entered the classroom…Fitts could already see it.

A towering, dense, and surging aura—coiling and crackling like restrained lightning.

Fitts smirked, eyes narrowing.

"Well now... this might actually be fun."

Clide entered the classroom with calm confidence, his eyes scanning every corner, every face, every breath of the room. Each step was deliberate, silent but commanding, as he walked to stand beside the teacher at the front of the class.

The reactions came instantly.

Some of the girls whispered among themselves, clearly taken by his striking looks. Others leaned forward in their seats, intrigued—wondering who this new Hollow was, what his story might be.

But one reaction was… different. Shocking, even.

It came from Fitts Harbinger—the black monster of Class 1-D.The self-proclaimed strongest.

And yet… there he sat, completely frozen. His usual cocky smirk gone, replaced by a pale, wide-eyed expression of pure dread.

The class fell quiet.

They had never seen Fitts like this. Not once. Not ever.

Even when faced with dangerous tests, brutal training sessions, or sudden combat trials—Fitts never flinched. He thrived in chaos. But now? Now, he looked like he'd seen death itself walk into the room.

And in a way… he had.

Because what he saw wasn't just Clide.

He saw Clide's aura—and it was beyond anything Fitts had ever encountered.

The moment Clide stepped past the door, a suffocating darkness began to spill into the room. A crushing force… a vast, endless void that filled the space like black water drowning light.

Fitts's Void Sight, the very power that made him confident and feared, betrayed him.

Where he expected a large, maybe even impressive aura—he was instead met with an abyss. So dense. So wide. So deep… that it overwhelmed his vision, blinding everything else in an ocean of pitch black.

In that moment, Fitts knew—

"I… can't win against that."

No words were needed. No threats. No glares. No posturing.

Just one presence……and the void it carried.

Clide sighed quietly to himself.

"Let's get this over with."

He stepped forward, ignoring the weight of dozens of eyes fixed on him. The room was still tense from his arrival, and the silence that followed only made his voice cut sharper through the air.

Clide:"Hello... all of you."

A few students blinked, caught off guard by how casually he spoke.

"You probably already know my name and heard that I'd be joining your class. But for anyone who doesn't—I'm Clide. Clide Alucard."

He let the name hang for a moment, feeling the invisible wince that came with saying it.

"As in, yes... related to someone I assume you all know—Sanchez Alucard, the guy who basically runs this place."

A collective gasp echoed through the class. Some mouths fell open. Others exchanged frantic glances. To them, this was huge. Sanchez Alucard was a legend—infect one of the great SUPERNOVAS among Hollows, revered for founding this very school and protecting them from the "horrors of the Human world known as Earth ".

And now... his "relative" was in their class?

Clide continued, unfazed.

"Now, let's make something real clear."

His tone dropped slightly, colder, direct.

"I didn't come here to make friends. I didn't come here to make enemies either. I'm just here to do what I came here to do. So if you all can just let me do that—we won't have a problem. Sound fair?"

A heavy silence followed, but not a soul dared to argue.

Not after what they saw .Not after the strongest in class looked ready to faint. And especially not now—knowing he carried the last name of Alucard.

Of course, what none of them knew…

Was that every single word of that introduction was a lie.Sanchez had carefully crafted the story, instructed Clide to say the name Alucard to shield his true identity,

But Clide.. He really didn't care as much as Sanchez but decided to go along with the plan anyway.
