When Rohan carried her to the dining room of the manor, where she had never once sat since they moved here, Belle was stunned speechless at the line of covered lids on the long table. Though the table was not as big and long as the one in the castle, it was long enough, and it had ten chairs around it. Every side of the table held a dish and silverware.
She hadn't seen this much food in a while, and when Rohan carried her to the head of the table and carefully put her down on the chair on the right side, he looked at the servants to open the lids of the dishes while Belle could do nothing but watch and see what he was up to.
It seemed he had woken up long before her and given orders for the things to be prepared. She got another surprise when the lids were lifted and the bowls all contained most, if not every, one of her favorite meals.
Rohan sat beside her on the chair at the head of the table and looked at his wife, whose eyes had gone round.
