Ara's POV
Finally!!! Finally!!! I'm so happy that I'm back to home from my super tragic day!!
Aunt notice me and came to me from kitchen. "Hey, Ara are you fine? How's your day?? Why are you looking so tired?? And what's wrong with your shirt???" She asked me and change expression with every question.
"The day was—ORANGE..." I whispered dramatically.
"ORANGE??" She asked in confusion.
"I want to r–rest...I will tell you later." I declared and leave. I feel the concern in her voice that my own mother never give me.
I'm climbing staircase in my zombie walk... Then I saw a figure in front of me. Is this is hallucinations??
" Why are you roaming around 11th?? Why are you talking to that girl from 11th coral?" I know he is totally irritated. I'm really not able to invite argument with him.
"I'm just asking for directions." I muttered.
"Oh really–" I ignored and continue walking upwards. I know he is drilling my back, wanted to kick me from behind but still I'm walking. I'm not able to talk to anyone.
Throwing my rucksack on the floor, crawled into my heaven like bed revising what happened today and become totally irritated. I want to disappear and nothing else.
I just...just went to first phase of sleeping suddenly "Listen to me carefully, don't talk to that boy in your class, Aarav. I don't like him because he's not good. You will consider this as concern as well as warning. And come after changing your clothes, dinner is ready." Liza said and leave.
Okay...okay...okay..as warning...
I get up like a newly born turtle and go straight to bathroom.
Aunt asked me about my day and I explained her not everything but a little less from everything.
After dinner I go straight to my room, for my heaven like bed! Thinking about what happens next day?
I woke up earlier than any other day so I gets ready early and decided to go early. So after completing the bathing rituals today I wore proper school uniform. Yah, along with a cardigan over my shirt and also wore a tie!
I asked for the maid to give me breakfast early. Under that time I informed Aunt about my early dispersal to school.
Okay...okay...okay...
I eat breakfast with almost the speed of light. And asked driver to drop me and he agreed.
Great.
Today, I'm more able to abserve the school more clearly. There are few students already in school. Okay. The school consists green trees all-over. Good thing. The school is neat and clean also vintage types with green veins hanging on it's wall. Good thing. The students are fighting with no mercy. Bad thing.
The students also betting about who wins! Wow.
I ignored and kept walking… but no! Is this possible that my one day, only one day, goes by without any problem?
Apparently not.
Just as I passed by the main building's staircase, I heard yelling—violent yelling.
Two boys were clearly in the middle of some very dramatic fight about something Very important.
"Say one more thing about my haircut, I DARE YOU!"
"It looks like a mop, bro, just accept it—"
Really! I mean everyone here only knew fighting!?!
And just like that, chaos broke free. One shoved the other. The other dodged. The first one lost balance. His foot hit a water bottle rolling under the bench.
And the next thing I knew—
"AAAHHHH!!!"
THUD.
I'm entered the last phase of paralysis.
I was Buried by a human boy. His weight lying on me. I sense the ridiculous perfume he used. Yakkk!
"OH MY GOD I'M SORRY!" he screeched, scrambling off me like I was a cactus.
I just lay there. Eyes wide. Arms stretched. Soul trapped inside a paralyzed body. Nothing else.
"What... what just happened," I croaked.
The boy who had fallen on me looked one second away and said "I'm so sorry! I—I didn't mean to fall on you—I was pushed—I mean—technically it was the mop hair insult—"
I raised a hand weakly. "Silence...you human."
There are not that much students but still...
People were watching. Everyone was watching. Including...

Not again.
Aarav was standing at the staircase, arms crossed, clearly entertained by my misery.
Really?? In early morning?
"The earth likes you too much girl!" he announced, now everyone is watching.
The boy who'd landed on me turned red and ran off yelling "I'M SO SORRY AGAIN," while his opponent chased him with a textbook.
I somehow managed to rise from the ashes of my dignity and dust off my shirt, now with a suspicious footprint on the sleeve.
As I stand up from the ground, Aarav walked beside me casually.
"Are you okay?" he asked casually.
"Don't talk to me."
He giggled, clearly enjoying himself.
And of course, by the time I entered the classroom, Gaurav and Samridhi looked at me like I was returning from battle.
"What now?" Gaurav asked, genuinely concerned.
"Someone fell on me."
" I don't expect that people starting falling on you, on your second day of Academy!"Samriddhi exclaimed. Wow. No words.
"YOU IDIOT! Someone fell on me from upstairs!!" I yelled at her.
Now they both started giggling. I swear, one chance and I'll slap them both.
Including the person sit beside me and I could hear continues giggling and laughing.
"By the way, why you both are early too?" I asked.
"You don't know?? We both live in academy hostel. We both go back home on weekends only." Gaurav replied.
"That's good, what about him??" I asked while pointing indirectly to the person behind me.
"A–Ah, he is early today. Only today, otherwise he is a late comer." He realised and then answered.
I nodded.
"Hey, Ara what about giving pet names to eachother?!?" samriddhi exploded suddenly.
"what if I deny?" I asked.
"you have no option. Listen to your parents. Remember we adopted you." she answered.
So what, I have no option. I nodded and agree.
"Okay so start." Samriddhi and gaurav said in unison while fixing their hairs and uniform.
"Ummm, I don't kill my mind by overthinking so, Sammie for samriddhi and Nick for Gaurav."
"Yes!" They both screamed in unison, this is normal. They both just get a trophy as their prize.
" We already thaught a name for you, Ray"
Samriddhi mentioned.
Not bad, I don't expect they both also give me a name. Ray.
I smiled and nodded. I'm happy.
" What about me??" Someone interpreted from behind. He asked me.
I chuckled. Just staring at him and the goblins trying hide their nonsense smile.
" Why?" I asked him in very irritated tone. Of course, Liza warned me last night. I remember. She have eyes on me.
"Because you give them both..." He answered.
Periods passes, he is still asking.
Time for lunch break! He is still asking.
Headache is on it's peak. I left the class because I have no appetite, just to explore the school. And guess what I found, a library! But it's empty and looks like nobody used it from years.
Okay, I stepped inside just to get some peace. A spark of light comes from window. Good.
I stand there with the support of the Book shelf. But peace word is not in my dictionary.
"Found you!" Aarav screamed.
I got a little heart attack when he screamed. He locked the door. I chuckled but don't react, he stepped closer.
"Are you following me??" I asked in shock.
" I just want my nickname from you and nothing else." He mentioned.
"Never!" I declared.
" Is I'm contagious?" He asked while stepping closer.
" Yes!" I want to leave but he is so fast. He blocked my path with his hand.
Is he want court me? Or take advantage of me?
"Leave my space or I will scream." I tell him.
" My nickname..." He asked again. On chance and I'll punch him.
"Are you deaf!!! I said no means no!!" My volume raised this time.
I turned back but he blocked my path again with his second hand. So sad. Now I have no option but to turn his side.
"My name...." He asked. Yup, we are not touching each other but still I feel warmth.
"I said no..." I repeated again.
"Okay if you don't give me then I will give you a nickname."
"A–Ahh" I muttered.
He come closer, that much close now I feel his warm breathing.
I tilted my face, and I now I feel a soft breath hit my neck.
"Noor" he whispered in my ears.
He said and step back, start walking towards the door.
" Bye, Noor! See you in the class!" And then he left the room.
Is this is for real!?! He give me a name. A nickname! Apart from Ray...
