"Professor Finn, may I have a word with you?" Lucas asked, rubbing his temples lightly.
The old man nodded, giving Lucas a curious look.
"You said you found two planets where life sustains, right?"
Professor Finn nodded again.
"Do you have pictures of the two planets?"
Lucas had no idea why he was being so hopeful. Even if one of the planets were Earth, he didn't have the means to return home. He could only admire from afar, hoping his wish to come true one day.
"I do. It was in the file I gave you. Didn't you read it?"
Lucas shook his head. Only Vance, Patrick, and Ryker had seen the file. He hadn't even touched it.
"The file's in the lab. You may accompany me back if you want," Professor Finn suggested and started walking, and Lucas followed him immediately.
"Professor Finn, do you think we will end the threat?" Lucas questioned with a heavy heart as he climbed the stairs.
