Lukas gently hugged her, and she immediately started crying, her body was shaking. Lukas was not sure why she was crying, but he had to calm her down.
After a while she did calm down and looked at Lukas with eyes that were saying that she was hurt.
"It's alright. Tell me, why are you so sad?"
Lukas, while patting her head, asked if he had to because she looked devastated and hurt.
"Y… You don't spend time with me, you don't come at night, and seeing me in the office, you always left"
Bella said she was aggrieved and complained she felt like he had wronged her and her feelings.
"Ah! That, because I was busy preparing for the exams and also seeing you in the office, makes me relax. That's why I always give you responsibility and go away. It's not like I am running from you, it's more like I am depending on you."
Lukas said he was not sure where she got such an idea from, but she sure was creative in her spite.
