Emotionally exhausted from talking about Mason and arguing with Hajin right after, Sarah fell into a deep sleep. She didn't even seem to have nightmares--a very rare occurrence. Perhaps because she got to eat a comfort food, although Hajin hoped their kiss had some contribution to it.
But, well...the important thing was that she could sleep peacefully.
It was such a precious occasion that Hajin got angry when Sarah's phone kept ringing and vibrating on the nightstand, worried it might wake her up. Yes, she rarely woke up from the alarm or calls, but he didn't want to take a chance.
He snatched the phone with a frown, wondering if he should turn the thing off altogether. But he saw the caller's ID and paused. 'Chief Secretary' it said, which meant the chairman's direct assistant; the man who always followed him around.
Hmm...he couldn't just cut this one off, right? Taking her call if she wasn't able was one of his jobs, after all.
