When Eren woke up, he found himself at the village. In the same spot where his parents were killed.
Due to the dragon's power, Eren forgot about his parents and his emotions.
But the dragon didn't erase nor seal the villagers' memory. They know everything that happened.
It was already dawn, and villagers were confused. They were attacked by Marco, Eren's parents were killed in front of them, but now there was not a trace of Marco and Eren's parents. Even the houses were also back to normal.
While the villagers were looking each other with confused face,Lisa saw someone in front of her. Because it was dark she can't recognize.
Lisa: "Hey mom, who is that person in front of us?"
Upon hearing Lisa, Lisa's mother Renia and all the villagers looked in front of them. There was a black haired boy laying down in the grass.
Villagers went near the boy. First they didn't recognize the boy but after having a proper look, villagers got very suprise. Because that boy was none other than Eren himself.
Eren opened his eyes and saw the multiple gaze of the villagers who was looking at him. His eyes were black, calm but cold. There was no sadness no anger, no joy. Only emptyness.
The villagers sighed in relief. At least he wasn't harmed. But they were confused also. His eyes and hair turned Into black, but he doesn't show any kind of emotions.
A villager: "Eren, where is your parents? We didn't see them. Did Marco took them?"
Eren looked at the villager with cold eyes.
Eren: "My parents? Marco? Who are they? My parents died a long time ago. I don't remember them."
All the villagers were very shocked. Then a thought came to their mind.
Villagers' thought: "Maybe the shock of his parents' death took his memory and emotions."
So they didn't ask much questions.
Renia: "Then what are you going to do now Eren?"
Eren: "I don't know?"
Renia: "Then why don't you stay with us? You don't have to worry about food or home."
Villagers also agree with Renia because of her good connection with his family.
Eren nodded then Renia took him to her house. Soon after they reached her home. The house was not so big and not so small. Just an average house of villages.
Renia unlocked the house then the three of them went inside.
Renia: "You two go wash your hand and sit on the table. I'll prepare some food."
[After some time]
Renia: "Thanks for waiting. Now eat up."
Then Renia put three plate of curry on the table, then all three starts to eat. After finishing their dinner, Renia washed the dishes and they went to sleep.
Eren was living his new life in Lisa's house. Where he helps Renia in the shop, playing with Lisa. After the incident of this parents, all the villagers treat his kindly. Completely different from before.
It has been two weeks since Eren started living in Lisa's house. One day, as usual he was playing with Lisa in the backyard.
Lisa: "Hey Eren, umm, do you, want something?"
Eren: "Huh?"

Lisa: "I mean your birthday is tomorrow, isn't it? So do you need anything as a present?"
Eren: "I don't know. Why do you ask?"
Lisa: "Because it's your birthday, you dummy."
Eren: "But I don't know what I need."
Lisa giggle then said," I knew that you would say that, so I've already prepared your present."
[The next day]
When Eren woke up, he heard two loud voices.
Lisa and Renia: "Happy birthday Eren."
But instead of giving him surprise, they became surprised just by looking him. His appearance has changed.
Eren eyes were back to its original colour 'blue' but his hair was still black. And he was wearing a locket.
The locket was round in shape with blue colour with a small black circle in the middle. Just like Eren's eyes.
Renia looked at Eren and said," what are you wearing in you neck Eren?"
Eren: "Huh?"
Eren looked at the locket.
Eren: "What is this? Where did it came from?
Renia looked at Lisa and said,"Eh! Lisa I didn't know that you had such a beautiful locket. But where did you get it?"
Lisa: "It's not mine. Infact I never seen such a locket."
Renia got a little surprise. She than said while putting her hand on her cheek.
Renia: "If you and I didn't give it to him then how did he get it? Did somebody give it to him while we were sleeping?"
Renia looked at Eren, pointing her index finger toward the locket on his neck.
Renia: "Where did you find that locket Eren?"
Eren: "I don't know either. But I like this locket. Can I keep it?"
Renia gave a light smile.
Renia: "Sure. It's your to keep."
After hearing Renia, Eren gave smile and hugged her.
Eren: "Thank you! Auntie."
Renia and Lisa became very surprised by seeing Eren's smile. Everyone in the village knows that Eren lost his emotions, but seeing a light smile on his face made both of them very happy.
Both Lisa and Renia hugged Eren, thinking that he regained his emotions back.
The news spread like fire in the entire village. Everyone came to celebrate Eren's birthday and for regaining his emotions back.
While Eren was Celebrating his birthday with the villagers, he heard strange voice in his head.
The voice: "So you finally regain some of your emotions huh. But without your power are you going to be ok?"
Eren was a bit surprise but quickly ignore the voice, thinking that it was from a villager. After the party was over at night everyone give some gifts like clothes,food to Eren and went home.
Renia: "Now that everyone went, it's time for next suprise."
Eren: "Next suprise?"
Renia: "Yes, your birthday present from us."
Eren: "My birthday present? From you?"
Renia was surprised when Eren suddenly made a sad face.
Renia: "Hey, what happened? Are you not happy to receive gifts from us?"
Eren: "Huh? Why wouldn't I be happy? If course I am."
Renia: "Then why are you making a sad face?"
Eren touched his face.
Eren: "Am I? But I didn't feel any sad face."
Renia giggle by seeing his innocent behaviour. Although Eren regain his emotions but he doesn't know how to properly express them. So he randomly makes any kind of expression.
Renia: "Of course you wouldn't feel. It's not something you can feel by touching your face. Anyway back to the present. You stay here for a bit we will bring your present."
After some minutes, Lisa and Renia came out of the room with a bag in there hand. Then Renia came closer to Eren. Handing him the bag.
Renia: "This is your present from me. Go on, have a look."
Eren nodded and open the bag. Inside the bag there was a book to learn basic magic.
Renia: "I noticed when someone is using magic, you gets excited just by looking. So I thought that you wants to learn magic."
Eren became very happy. He was looking at the book very excitedly.
Eren:" Thank you so much auntie. This is the best gift I ever received in my life."
Lisa: "Umm! Hey, I-I also...have a p-present for...you."
Lisa said with a blush on her face. Renia understood immediately but Eren couldn't. Lisa handed the small bag to Eren while blushing.
Eren: "Thank you for the gift, but are you alright Lisa? You seems kinda red. Did you catch a cold?"
Lisa: "N-No, I'm...fine. Don't worry about me."
Lisa said while feeling embarrassed.
Renia: "You have to keep trying Lisa. Don't give up yet."
Lisa: "I-It's not what you think mom."
Renia: "No need to hide it my dear. I know everything."
Eren: "Knows everything? What do you mean?"
Lisa: "It's nothing important. Please open your gift."
Eren: "Huh! Ok."
Eren opened the bag. There was a pair of red handmade gloves.
Eren: "Whah! Did you made these by yourself?"
Lisa: "Well yeah! I wanted to give you a present, so I asked my mom to teach me how to make them."
Lisa said while covering her face with her hands.
Eren: "Wow! You make these for me? That's so cool. Can I wear it?"
Lisa: "um, yes!"
Eren wears the gloves.
Eren: "Whah, they are so warm. Thanks for the gift Lisa. I love it."
Lisa: "Don't mention it."
