Chapter 132: Phantom's Promise
Ronan's POV
I couldn't look away from her eyes. Those weren't Sienna's eyes anymore—not the warm ruby red I'd fallen in love with. They glowed with a strange purple-red light that sent chills down my spine.
"Get back," I warned, pushing Kieran away as Sienna growled at us. "She's not herself."
My heart pounded as I watched her squat like a wild animal, her fingers digging into the dirt. The Trial of Power had changed her, and now Kieran's blood rage curse was taking over. She looked ready to tear us apart.
"Sienna," I said softly, holding out my hand. "It's me. It's Ronan."
For a second, something sparked in those strange eyes—a hint of recognition. Then it was gone, replaced by that terrible hunger Caius had mentioned.
Suddenly, a sharp pain shot through my chest, making me gasp. It wasn't physical—it was deeper. Something inside me was pulling toward Sienna, like an invisible rope linking us.
