Night arrived, and the stars seemed to dance in the sky.
Above Glass Bead Island, fireworks exploded in a shower of color, painting the night with bursts of light.
Bright spotlights swept across the concert venue, packed shoulder-to-shoulder with excited fans. Those without tickets had climbed trees, dotted the hillsides, and perched on rooftops, all trying to catch a glimpse.
"Uta! Uta! Uta!" the crowd roared.
Glow sticks lit up the darkness as everyone chanted Uta's name with feverish excitement.
On other islands, all over the world, people gathered in front of giant screens, their eyes glued to the images as they waited for Uta to appear.
Backstage, the air buzzed with anticipation.
Roya held a Den Den Mushi to his ear.
"Marshal Sengoku, don't worry, I will get back the Celestial Tribute, no problem. Hmm? Investigate now?"
"Come on, I'm suspended!" he said, a hint of annoyance in his voice.
"Besides, Marshal Sengoku, I have 32 concerts scheduled this year, my schedule is completely full, so please be patient."
"The concert's about to start; I have to go on stage!"
"Gotta go!"
" Katcha! "
Roya smoothed his hair back and walked confidently toward the stage.
Tonight belonged to them.
" Click! "
The lights went out, plunging the venue into darkness. The audience held their breath, their eyes fixed on the stage, waiting.
"The New World is the future before our eyes," a voice sang out.
"Everything in the world."
"Let it all change."
As the music swelled, the stage burst into light, lasers cutting through the darkness to illuminate a pink-haired girl at the center.
Uta raised her right hand and moved to the music.
Behind her, Roya and the other dancers moved in perfect synchronization, their fingers pointing upward, their bodies swaying to the rhythm.
"Boom!"
Fireworks exploded along the edge of the stage, bathing the concert venue in light, neon colors flashing everywhere.
"If we could change everything in the world," Uta sang, her voice filled with passion.
"If we could change it."
"Sweep away all obstacles and hatred."
"Let's revolutionize this world together."
The concert had begun!
Uta sang and danced with all her energy, lost in the music. Despite it being her first time on stage, she showed no signs of fear.
Roya, too, threw himself into the performance, moving with Uta, enjoying the energy of the stage, the pulse of the music, and the cheers of the crowd.
At this moment, he wasn't the famous Marine Vice Admiral, Roya, but simply a dancer, the leader of the Peacekeepers Band.
If he didn't truly love it, he wouldn't have gone to the trouble of forming a band and putting on this concert.
"I want to believe in the future before my eyes," Uta's voice soared.
"May endless music."
"Spread to even more distant corners."
"Let me take you to a dream, to a dream."
"The New World is coming."
When Uta's song ended, a hush fell over the crowd.
Bathed in the spotlight, Uta, Roya, Yamato, Jango, and Fullbody stood side by side, striking the pose from their poster, fingers pointed to the sky!
"Ooooh!!!" The roar of the crowd shook the island.
"Everyone, we've finally met!" Uta said into the microphone.
"I'm Uta!"
"Ooooh!!!" The glow sticks waved even faster.
"Sorry, I'm a little excited," Uta said, covering her rapidly beating heart. Coming back from the world of music and facing so many people filled her with joy and excitement.
Even speaking was a challenge.
"Let's enjoy this moment to the fullest!"
The lights flashed again!
Roya grabbed his electric guitar and started to play, his fingers flying across the strings. He wasn't a master musician, but he was definitely skilled.
He had practiced more than just dancing.
Yamato pounded away at the drums!
Uta's voice rose again, singing:
"The unbearable memories of the heart."
"Quickly pierce through the sadness."
"The grudges that cannot be released are all because of that guy."
"How could you understand."
"The loneliness of truly being hurt."
"Now let's break free from the restraints."
"Let's defeat the villains."
The driving rhythm electrified the crowd, and everyone jumped to their feet, dancing and singing along with Uta.
One song followed another.
There was barely time to breathe.
This night was a carnival for Uta fans all over the world.
As the concert approached its end, Uta paused to catch her breath, calm her heart, and introduce the band to the audience.
"I want to introduce the captain of our Peacekeepers Band, Roya-san," she said. "He's the one who found me and suggested forming a band, making tonight's performance possible. Thank you so much!"
Roya stepped forward. He might not have been as popular as Uta, but his cool, slicked-back hair drew cheers from the crowd.
Even in supporting roles, their dancing had captivated everyone.
Roya took the microphone.
"Uta's dream is to create a peaceful and happy New World, using her singing to bring happiness and joy to everyone," he said, his voice strong and clear.
"And that dream is also why I created the Peacekeepers Band. Our band's mission is to commit to world peace!"
"There's a saying in my hometown."
"'With great power comes great responsibility!'"
"Here, I'm making a decision!"
"In the future, all the money we make from Peacekeepers Band concerts, after paying for the costs of putting on the show, will be used to help countries in disaster and people living in poverty!"
"This is the Peacekeepers Band's promise to everyone!"
Roya knew that increasing his influence and reputation would help him personally, but more importantly, he wanted to bring change to the world.
He didn't need money, and he hadn't formed the band to get rich.
Selfishly, he wanted to increase his influence and reputation, but more than that, he wanted to bring some change to this world.
He wanted to use the band's name to show those living in despair, those who couldn't even afford food or shelter, that there was still kindness in the world.
Even this small act, even if it only saved one person, would be worth it.
And it wasn't just his idea. Uta and Yamato both wanted to help those who were suffering.
Even Fullbody and Jango, and the members of G-5 Branch, all believed in justice and wanted to help the weak.
There was no special reason he was doing this.
Just conscience.
" Snap! "
Roya snapped his fingers!
The lights went out again. After a moment of silence, the stage lit up. But this time, it was filled with children, all of them from the island.
Uta, Roya, Yamato, and the others held hands and began to sing together.
"When we hear the earnest cries," they sang.
"The world should unite as one."
"Some people in some places are gradually dying."
"It's time to lend a helping hand."
"To life."
"This is the best gift."
The gentle song touched everyone's hearts.
The audience forgot everything, forgot that this was a concert, and listened to the voices and the music, feeling the message of peace.
The children behind them joined in the chorus.
"We are the world."
"We are the children."
"We are the ones who make a brighter day."
"So let's start giving."
"We are living in this world."
"We are all God's children."
"We really can create a better tomorrow."
"So let's start dedicating ourselves."
"The choice we are making."
"Is saving our own lives."
"Let us stand together as a family."
Windmill Village, Sea Restaurant, Logue Town.
Alabasta, Water 7, Sabaody Archipelago.
G-5 Branch, Dressrosa, Elbaf.
The pure voices of Roya and the children reached every corner of the world.
Hope quietly bloomed.
