Miggy's POV
Since that day, I have noticed that Gab has become more thoughtful and attentive to me. He was able to miss everything I told him during those times. It's almost here that he sleeps in my unit, once he and Meynard are trying to bring back the former colorful and happy company we had in my condo. Even though they didn't tell me the truth, I knew they talked about spending the day here together. But I didn't speak or ask about that thing. I just let them because I didn't want to ruin and ignore all the effort that was given to me.
He also did not forget to visit and greet Teresa at her house, saying that he accepted everything and that he was just thankful that he would somehow have two more relatives. And at least he wasn't alone anymore because he found out that his mother had twins and that was Teresa, his aunt. But it's still sad because a few weeks later we still have no news about Gabie. Police admitted that it was difficult to find the missing man because they did not have a lead to point out his whereabouts.
Meanwhile, we have learned that Gab's real name is from Marites' former best friend, Alexandria Marie, who is also his only mother. He was the last one with Marites before he boarded the bus that had an accident that day. Marites allegedly used it on purpose because he wanted to ask my father for money so that he could help his twin and he would also use the others for his mother and father. It is said that it is very difficult for them and their mother because Gab's father or Alexandria Marie left them and they have a family of their own.
But Marites did not succeed in his plan because he had difficulty getting close to his daddy. He also said that he didn't want to come lightly because he didn't want the news to break because he knew daddy was a well-known person. He also tried to go to the office several times but was not invited because he did not have an appointment. He even allegedly left his name and cellphone number in the reception area, but he did not know why he did not receive a call from his father. He told us all his former best friends what they were doing because he said it always made him feel bad every time he went to the tower where daddy's office was. That's why he was mistaken for Teresa because he meant to use it every time he went to daddy's office. Since he started studying, this is the name he uses for Gab. So Gab didn't think that it wasn't his real name or even his birthday.
When we finished finding out all about the personality of Alexandria Marie or better known as Gab, I was instructed to get a copy of her birth certificate so we could find out if what Jane, Marites 'bestfriend, was saying was true.
Truth be told, we got a copy of Alexandria Marie Alonzo's birth certificate from PSA. From then on, I helped her to change all her related documents into her real name because it was what she really wanted to do. After which, she tagged me along to visit her mother's grave in Bulacan, because she said if she leaves me alone I might get drunk again. She confessed that no matter how much she hated knowing the truth that her mother lied to her for more than two decades of her existence on earth, she couldn't keep hating her mom because, for her, it doesn't make sense now. She couldn't turn back time, and it wouldn't help her either, for the fact that her mom had already long gone.
As the days went by, Gab, I mean Alex, as I prefer to call her, became closer to me. She also liked me. We found each other as confiders while our world is still in mayhem, especially my life. In fairness, his life is starting to get better after he finds out his true identity and we have also fixed all his documents so that he can return and use his true identity.
We are often together when he is off or when he is not busy with his work. He also sometimes accompanies me to look for Gabie. Somehow, they also had a good relationship with Teresa. In fact, she helped Jhay prepare a surprise birthday celebration for Teresa, so we are together again today to pick up the cake she ordered and we will go to their house while Jhay is still with Teresa to go to church. We have to go there first because we will also receive the food he ordered to be delivered. He said because, since his mother is gone and his mother Teresa is a twin, it seems like he also prepared Marites for her birthday. So he talked to Jhay to help him make the surprise birthday celebration he was thinking of.
I'm obsessed with Alex being a positive thinker. I admit she helped me a lot to cope with my messy life. We just took it one step at a time, a baby-step. She was the one who helped to lift myself up from being jailed in the darkest part of my life. She didn't complain or give up on me either, no matter how difficult I was to deal with. She always took it lightly whenever she heard harsh words from me, because she said that I only uttered those words because I was so much in pain. She said she believes that I didn't mean those words to harm the people around me.
She said it has not been easy for her to have that outlook on life; she learned it in a hard way. Even if you say that someone cares about her, it doesn't mean that you will expect everything from that person. Because you should remember that you still have to work for yourself.
As we got to know each other and together, I learned so much from him that he didn't mean to teach me. So, no matter how painful the things I hear from mommy every time I return home are, I've learned to ignore them.Because Alex said so, he didn't mean to say that to hurt me, he was just overwhelmed with emotion because he was hurt. That is why it is said to be more patient and understanding with people who are going through a lot.
"Migs! What? Let's go?" Alex as he sits on the shotgun then adjusts the seatbelt. Then he patted my forehead. Since he used his real identity, he didn't call me brother anymore because he said he didn't want to be jealous in case Gabie because he might say that he was robbing his brother or sister.
"You're stupid again!" he scolded me.
"Ouch! "my complaint."
"Sus! If you complain, it's as if you're going to die with a flip on your forehead! Your art! "teased him. As before, they always agreed that Meynard would harass me, so they got along very well.
"Tss," it just came out of my mouth, then I stared at him before turning on my car and driving to Teresa's house. We'll just get the cake because it didn't come down because he said he could do it. So I didn't argue anymore. I knew he wasn't really going to lose.
"Hala! The person who delivered the food is already there! " He read the text message he received.
"Tell them we'll be there in a few minutes," I said, then accelerated my car a bit.
"Okay."
When we arrived, we immediately arranged the food on the table after it was delivered on board, because Jhay gave his duplicate key to Alex so we could enter their house freely. Fortunately, we still had enough time to fix everything because they were caught in heavy traffic on the road.
"Do you think my aunt will like what we prepared?" He suddenly asked while we were resting, then dressed well because we were sweating earlier from what we did.

"Why? What's wrong with what I said?"
"Ah, I don't know why I asked you? I wish you knew that you rarely answer well because when you are asked the answer to my question, it's also a question! It's like an ewan! " All at once, he smirked at me.
"You know it's not your thing to shout!" I turned to him.
"Hmp! "Don't talk to me when I'm tired! "he objected.
"Wow! I'm ashamed of you so I'm tired because you made me lift a table and chairs and then you made me a driver, "I said sarcastically to him.
"Eh, wow! Thank you! " I couldn't bear to pinch his bulging cheek because he looks cute when he sneezes.
"I already know why you're complaining, are you hungry?" my flattery.
"Heh!" then he slapped my hand.
"Tsk... tsk... tsk, I must be used to you when you complain. I want to buy you food, babe." my sensitivity

He just laughed at me because he knew I was right in my suspicion of him, but that stopped when we heard someone coming because we heard the sound of the gate opening. So we quickly got up and lit the cake and then we stood in front of the door to greet Teresa with a song.
"Surprise!" Alex shouted loudly as the door opened. Then we sang a birthday song for him at the same time. Teresa burst into tears as we listened to her sing.
The two of them hugged after we sang to him. I could see he was happy and thankful for what Alex did to him. I was surprised that he hugged me too and thanked me, so I didn't hug him back right away.
"Yieee! Happy Aunt Beauty! " Jhay teases her.
"Oh you! That's why you sent me to church! " sita sa kan'ya ni Teresa.
"Of course so as not to spoil Alex's surprise with you! What are you doing, aunt? You still don't want that? Your beautiful niece prepared you! " Jhay said cheerfully.
"Yes, eh, it's funny that you really put in the effort even though it's okay for us to just have a simple dinner. Then I didn't really think about it. I'll admit I'm sad because it's my first birthday without Gabie. But you made me happy today, thank you so much, "he said with tears in his eyes.
"Oh my! 'Go ahead, you'll wringle with that, 'Jhay joked to her. Jhay succeeded in what he did because he immediately laughed.
Well, I know I'm not in the place to tell you this, but I think we shouldn't let Gabie do what she wants to do first. I'm sure he'll come back too. Maybe he just wants to be alone so he can think. Because if we think about it carefully, we would have seen him for a long time if he really wanted to show up, right? Is it because of the number of people working together to find him on social media? It is known that he is even trending, but we still haven't found the right person to tell us where he is. Many of us have received pranks. It's hard to find someone who doesn't want to search, ta, "he calmly warned his aunt.

Teresa's birthday was a happy celebration even though there were only four of us. Alex and Jhay sang while I was just listening to them while Teresa entered her room for a while.
When he got back to the living room, Alex gave the gift he bought to his aunt and so did Jhay and me. Alex and Jhay encourage her to open her gifts right away. Alex gave her a picture of her mom in a frame. Jhay gave Teresa a dress, and then the last gift she opened was from me. I just hope she won't get angry with what I gave her, and I do hope too that she will take it. Only Alex knew about it. She even volunteered to wrap it, so it won't be obvious to look at.
"Hala!" he only spoke when he opened the box containing the lot title. I decided to pay for the house and lot where they're now living because I know that's one of Gabie's dreams for her mom.
"Is that too much Miggy?" she said after she paused for a moment.
"No po! I hope you don't refuse because I know Gabie has wanted to do for you for a long time. ""Please don't be angry with me for interfering in that matter," I hesitantly explained to him.
He cried, then stood up and approached me and hugged me tightly. Of course, I felt relieved, so I hugged him too, because he did not refuse what I gave him.
"You shouldn't have bothered but thank you so much for all the kindness you showed me and for all the help you did to find my son. You still did all those things to me that you should hate because of what happened to us and your daddy, so your life has become chaotic now. I know there is no forgiveness for what I have done to you and your mother, but you are here and continue to do good to me, my niece, and my son. Then maybe it's time for us to stop looking for him. Two months have passed since he left. Alex is right that it's hard to find someone who doesn't want to search. I know I told you this before, but I'm sorry for what happened to you, my son, "he sobbed.

"Tse! They saw me again, "he complained as if he was a child hiding behind Teresa. So we laughed even more at his reaction; even Teresa laughed at his attitude.
"What sir, Migs, am I right? Why don't you lose because it's beautiful? It's also a total package, so it's like my beshie! " Jhay's boast.
"Hey beks! Stop it, I'm not an item for sale like my aunt's goods in her online shop ah! You're serious to me! All right, I won't set you free! "he threatened.

We just laughed at what he was saying.

Soon we said goodbye to go home because it was a bit late.
"Thank you again. Will you be careful? " Teresa instructed us as we were about to get in my car.

"You also have a day with me!" Alex threatened to turn around, but instead of being scared, he just laughed at her.
"Ayieee Milex for the go!" And he teased even more. I just laughed at the two of them teasing each other because they were like children.
"Oh hey, go ahead so you don't spend too much time on the road, Miggy be careful driving ah?" Teresa instructed me again.
"Yes, thank you," I answered shortly, then got on while Alex had been sitting and had fastened his seatbelt.
"Bye tita! "Happy Birthday again! "he shouted as he lowered himself to the mirror.
Jhay was left with Teresa, because since Gabie disappeared, he accompanied Teresa to their house. That's what he told us.
Once I settled myself inside the car, I immediately started the engine and pressed the horn to let them know we were good to go. I drive smoothly heading home because there is no traffic because it's a bit late.
I noticed that Alex was extra quiet this time. I'm not used to it, because it's either she tells me stories or we find ourselves bantering. So, whenever she's with me, I never have a dull moment with her.
"Hey!" I break the silence.
"Hm?" she just moaned.
"Are you okay?"
"Of course," It's obvious that she's trying to make her voice jolly, but she failed to show it. For the past few months that we've been together, I've already known when she's sad, happy or uncomfortable. She doesn't know how to hide her feelings. I find her a very transparent person that it's so easy to read her.
"Wild!" I retorted.
"Huh?"
"I know you're not comfortable now being with me because of what Jhay did earlier."
"No ah!" she denied.
"Oh c'mon! You can't fool me, Alex! Let me remind you that you're a very transparent person. I can easily read your feelings based on your facial expression, right babe? " He didn't answer, then he just looked out the window. He thought I didn't notice he was blushing. But I haven't closed it yet so that it won't fall on me. So I just kept quiet. It's good that the music is loud because if I didn't, I might just be deafened by her being so quiet.
