Ayr shook his head slightly.

"No."

The Six Paths Sage Mode—or rather, the power he had accessed that day—was not something he could use again so easily.

The ability had come from a unique, one-time experience card—something rare and irreplaceable.

Unless he acquired another or reached a level of power that could naturally manifest it, using that strength again was impossible.

Charlotte Linlin, standing beside him, narrowed her eyes.

"Ayr," she mused, "the more I see your abilities, the more curious I get. What exactly is your Devil Fruit?"

Her lips curled into an eager smile.

"If you tell me, I'll pay you 100 million Berries."

Ayr arched an eyebrow.

Charlotte Linlin had seen him use this mysterious power three times—

First, during their encounter with Roger's crew.

Second, during the Hive Island battle.

Third, in his recent clash with Rocks himself.

She had scoured every Devil Fruit record in existence, but no description matched Ayr's abilities.

Which only fueled her curiosity further.

Ayr, however, merely shrugged.

"Rather than obsessing over my Devil Fruit," he said, "shouldn't you be thinking about how we'll find the Eternal Pose to God Valley once we reach Mariejois?"

Linlin pouted.

"You bastard… 100 million Berries, and you still won't say anything?"

Golden Lion, standing nearby, chuckled.

"What if I double it?" he suggested, crossing his arms. "200 million Berries, and you tell me what your power is."

His golden eyes gleamed with interest.

Golden Lion knew—when the Rocks Pirates inevitably split apart, Ayr would be his greatest rival.

If he could uncover Ayr's secrets, he could prepare countermeasures for the future.

But Ayr's response was as flat as ever.

"It's just an ordinary Devil Fruit," he said simply.

Silence.

Then—

"Ordinary?!"

Everyone turned to stare at Ayr. Even Kaido, who had been training at the side, stopped and frowned.

They had all been there during the Battle of Hive Island.

They had seen Ayr take on two of the Marine's top fighters at once—

And behead a Marine Admiral with his own hands.

And yet…

He called his Devil Fruit ordinary?!

Ayr's words felt like pure arrogance, but at the same time—his expression remained neutral.

He clearly had no intention of revealing any more information.

After a few moments, the crew let the topic drop.

Nightfall—Mariejois Infiltration Begins

Time passed.

As darkness fell, thick storm clouds gathered overhead, shrouding the entire sky in an abyss of shadows.

This was the perfect moment.

Golden Lion cracked his neck, flexing his fingers slightly.

"Alright," he smirked, "it's our turn to play."

Using his Fuwa Fuwa no Mi, he made the entire ship rise, carrying them up the Red Line.

As they ascended, even the clouds were left below them.

This was a testament to just how immensely tall the Red Line truly was.

After several minutes, they finally arrived at Mariejois.

Bathed in faint moonlight, the grand Holy Land of the Celestial Dragons lay before them.

The city was filled with opulent mansions, lavishly decorated palaces, and grandiose structures—each a testament to the wealth and arrogance of the World Nobles.

Mariejois was the epitome of excess—nothing but luxury in every direction.

Kaido folded his arms.

"So… do we have a plan?" he asked.

Silence followed.

It was a valid question.

After all, infiltrating Mariejois was no different from what they faced during the Battle of Hive Island.

If they rushed in without a plan, they would be dead within minutes.

Ayr placed a hand on his chin, thinking for a moment.

"This place is filled with countless slaves," he finally said. "If we free them, we'll create a massive distraction."

Everyone turned toward him.

Ayr smirked.

"If the slaves are released, the World Government's forces will be too focused on recapturing them," he explained.

"That will give us the perfect opening to search for the Eternal Pose to God Valley."

Golden Lion's lips curled into a grin.

"Jihahaha! Not bad, Ayr!"

If they didn't free the slaves, any conflict would immediately put all of Mariejois' powerhouses on their trail.

But if slaves were running rampant, the focus would shift away from them.

And that would buy them time.

"Alright," Whitebeard nodded. "We'll go with that plan."

Linlin, however, eyed Ayr curiously.

"Ayr," she asked, "do you even know where the slaves are kept?"

Ayr spread his hands.

"How would I know?" he said. "We'll just have to find them."

Golden Lion grinned.

"Then let's split up," he suggested. "We stay quiet for now—our goal is to find the slave prison first."

"Once we release them, we'll burn this place to the ground!"

Everyone nodded in agreement.

Whitebeard chuckled, slapping Ayr's shoulder.

"Gu ra ra ra… Ayr, after this is over, we need to have a proper drink."

Ayr smirked.

"Of course."

With that, the five of them dispersed into the darkness.

---

Ayr's Secret—Unlocking New Power

Unlike the others, Ayr didn't immediately search for the slave prison.

Instead, he retreated into the spiritual realm within his mind—where Kurama, the Nine-Tails, resided.

There, he took out eight Devil Fruits.

These were the fruits he had acquired from Rocks as a reward for retrieving the ancient Poneglyphs.

He had held onto them for some time, storing them within his sealed spiritual space.

Now… it was time to put them to use.

A familiar mechanical voice echoed in his mind:

Ding! "Eight Devil Fruits detected. Would you like to use them to unlock the power of Six-Tails?"

Ayr's eyes gleamed.

"Yes."

Ding! "Congratulations, Host. You have unlocked the Six-Tails Chakra Power."

Power surged through his body.

The Chakra of Saiken, the Six-Tails, flooded his system, mixing with his own.

Now, only Seven-Tails and Eight-Tails remained to be unlocked.

Ayr exhaled slowly.

To access the remaining tailed beast powers, he estimated he would need nineteen more Devil Fruits.

Of course…

That was assuming the pattern remained the same.

He wasn't entirely sure—

Would he truly only need nineteen more?

Or would the final stages require even more?

For now, it didn't matter.

Because tonight…

Mariejois would burn.
