Ayr sat casually on the deck, one leg over the other, smirking as he raised the price.

John's face twisted in frustration. "I already gave you everything on the ship!" he snarled.

Ayr leaned back slightly, his eyes gleaming with amusement. "A veteran of the Rocks Pirates like you? There's no way that's all you've got."

John had been with Rocks long before Ayr, yet Ayr found it impossible to believe that John didn't have more hidden away.

"You bastard, don't push your luck!" John roared.

This was the worst day of his life.

If he could go back in time, he'd never have tried to steal Ayr's Poneglyph.

Not only did he fail, but he also lost one billion Berries and three Devil Fruits in the process.

And now—

Now, Ayr was demanding another 500 million just to get on board?!!!

"You have ten seconds," Ayr said nonchalantly. "If you don't answer, I'll assume you'd rather stay here and die in this Sea King-infested hellhole."

"Ten."

Ayr turned toward the helm. "I'm leaving."

John's teeth clenched. "You bastard!"

But Ayr ignored him.

His ship began moving forward, leaving John behind.

As the vessel drifted farther—

John's frustration shifted to panic.

This was the Sea Kings' territory.

A place so dangerous that even seasoned pirates avoided it entirely.

If Ayr really left, John's fate was sealed.

His pride be damned—

He had no choice.

"AYR, WAIT!!!"

Ayr's ship continued forward.

John's fists tightened, his rage boiling over.

"FINE!!! I'LL PAY THE 500 MILLION BERRIES!!!"

Ayr paused.

Then—

He turned back with a grin. "One billion."

John froze.

"WHAT?!"

"I just agreed to 500 million!!! Why the hell is it one billion now?!" John snarled.

His anger skyrocketed.

The price had doubled in mere seconds?!

Ayr shrugged. "I gave you a chance earlier. You didn't take it. Now, it's one billion. If you refuse again, next time, it'll be two billion."

"DAMN YOU!!!"

John's veins bulged as he fought the urge to attack Ayr on the spot.

Ayr tilted his head. "So? You getting on or not?"

John's rage burned deep, but he forced the words out through clenched teeth—

"Fine! I'll get on!!!"

Ayr grinned and turned the ship around, letting John and his crew aboard.

John stomped onto the deck, his blood boiling.

"I'll never forgive you for this, Ayr!" he spat.

Ayr glanced at him, his voice calm yet sharp.

"Say one more word, and I'll throw you back in the water."

John tensed, then silently seethed.

---

"Ding!"

A familiar voice echoed in Ayr's mind.

"Congratulations, Host! You have gained 70 points of Sage Body progress!"

Ayr's eyes gleamed.

Now, his Sage Body progress had reached 3,820.

Only 180 points away from 4,000—

The moment he reached it, he'd unlock the power of the Sage Eyes.

---

Two days later.

Ayr navigated his ship through the New World, finally reaching the Rocks Pirates' base.

As he approached, the crew was already waiting.

At the bow of the ship stood Rocks D. Xebec, Golden Lion, Charlotte Linlin, Kaido, and the Ohara Scholars.

Rocks' sharp gaze locked onto Ayr. "So? What did you find?"

Golden Lion laughed mockingly, arms folded. "Jihahahaha! Ayr, I bet you came back empty-handed!"

The Poneglyph of Uranus was notoriously difficult to locate.

Even Golden Lion, despite his extensive search, had found nothing.

"Mamamama…" Big Mom chuckled. "Our whole crew spent months searching, and we still haven't found even a clue about Uranus."

Even though the Ohara scholars had deciphered three Poneglyphs already—

The final piece was still missing.

Finding it was like searching for a needle in a haystack.

"Ayr! It's been a while!"

A deep voice boomed as Edward Newgate (Whitebeard) stepped forward, a smile on his face.

Because the Rocks Pirates' officers often acted separately, it was rare for them to reunite.

Whitebeard had just returned two days prior, intending to rest before heading out again.

"Come drink with me!" Whitebeard grinned.

Like the others, he didn't expect Ayr to have found anything significant.

After all—

If the strongest members of the crew couldn't find it—

How could Ayr?

"Not now, Edward," Ayr said, shaking his head. "I have something important to report to Captain Rocks."

Rocks' eyes narrowed.

"Oh? Could it be… you've found something about Uranus?"

Ayr paused before responding. "Not exactly."

He had not planned on finding the Poneglyph.

His original goal had been the treasure map's destination.

Finding the Poneglyph there had been pure coincidence.

Golden Lion exhaled sharply, rolling his eyes. "Tch… If it's not about the Poneglyph, Captain Rocks won't care."

He leaned against the rail, arms crossed. "If you don't have news of Uranus, then you wasted your time."

Ayr smirked.

"Is that so?"

Golden Lion raised a brow. "What do you mean?"

Ayr turned to John's crew, gesturing with his hand.

"Bring it out."

The pirates nodded and rushed below deck.

Moments later—

They emerged, carrying a massive stone slab covered in ancient inscriptions.

Ayr watched calmly as they placed the Poneglyph at the center of the deck.

A tense silence filled the air.

Then—

Golden Lion's eyes widened.

Big Mom's jaw dropped.

Even Rocks' face showed a flicker of genuine surprise.

"You… you actually found it?!" Golden Lion stammered.

Charlotte Linlin stared in disbelief. "Impossible! We haven't even found a clue! How the hell did you get it?!"

Ayr simply smiled, crossing his arms.

"Believe it or not… here it is."

The deck fell into stunned silence—

As the Rocks Pirates realized what Ayr had just brought them.
