Mia was dragged all the way to the company. Fortunately, it was lunchtime and no one saw the two of them because if they had, then all kinds of rumours would have started to fly around in the company.
She was not very good at lying, and as she looked at the man who was pulling her along with him, she felt a bit guilty. Lucas had never really asked anything from her; he only asked her to steer clear of Henry, and yet she ended up getting entangled with him twice in a single day.
"Mr Lucas, let go of my hand," Mai said to him as the two of them came to a stop in front of the elevator.
Lucas pretended to be deaf and pressed the button of his special elevator. As soon as the door opened, he reached out and pulled Mia inside the elevator before shutting it closed.
