"There is no need to hurl accusations when the matter is not even cleared up yet." Mr Benjamin spoke to his wife while trying to speak to her reasonably. "I know Mia. She will never do anything to hurt anyone."
"Well, you can trust her as much as you want," Madam Allegra stated with a mocking smile on her face. "But I don't and I will never trust her. For all I know, my son is unconscious, and as the only person who cares for him, I need to do a better job."
Mr Benjamin let out a sigh. He ran his hand through his hair and stated in a cold voice, "I care for him too, Allegra. He is my son!"
Allegra, who was heading out of the room, paused and turned to look at her husband. She was already finding it difficult to continue with her life after finding out that her husband had betrayed her. And as if the pain of being betrayed was not enough, her son's condition added to her worries.
